Enjoy that nice day off of Work/School on Monday? Well, like everything else there is a downside: NO COMICS ON WEDNESDAY!?! Now that you have picked yourself up off the floor, be relieved to know that comics will hit shops on Thursday. Go reread the stuff from last week to tide you over.
Detective Comics #811
Returning to the "City of Crime" story, Batman is in deep. Things in his undercover mission have gone so badly that he is having to fight to stay alive. Also from the looks of the cover Gene Simmons of Kiss wil be taking over the mantle of the bat in this issue.
Gotham Central #35
You know, it is tough being Robin. You lose your girlfriend, your father, and then everyone in Gotham thinks you are dead. Since relations between Batman and the GCPD are so bad, Batman will not provide answers to the dead Robin that the police found.
JLA Syndicate Rules
COllecting Kurt Busiek's arc in JLA that served as a bit of a follow-up to the JLA/Avengers story he did. The Crime Syndicate of Amerika breaches the cosmic barrier between the universes, but they bring along another group that could be an even bigger threat to Earth.
Justice League Unlimited #13
Red Tornado goes berzerk. What has caused him (Red Tornado really needs a nickname) to try to destroy the watchtower? Before the League can solve that mystery, they have to stop him from reaching earth and causing more damage.
Outsiders #28
After the events of "The Insiders," which crossed this title with Teen Titans, the team has to deal with the loss of a comrade.
Villains United #5
Leave it to Gail Simone to take a bunch of low grade villains and really show that they should be taken a little more seriously. This issue really promises some great time with Catman vs. Deadshot. The group starts to attack each other as they try to decide who the mysterious Mockingbird
