Hello ...
I have enjoyed Batman for quite some time and I'm now at a point where I would like to go back and get the whole history/story of Batman and his nemesis'. Is there a collection available that goes back to the 1st issues?? If so, where would I find them? If not, anyone know of any good resources to eduacate myself more on Batman.

There is no one thing that you can buy and read. We are talking about over 65 years of comics. Basically you want to hit the main points, but even that can get pretty complicated. Click the images for the details on

There really are not many stories with loing lasting impact prior to 1985 or so. If you want to read the best stuff you can pick up these:
That puts you in the modern age where there is a big pile of stuff that can be read.

That is not even the high points. Basically what you should do is look up a few things HERE. If anything is available at your local bookstore that looks good to you, but you want to know if it is good first ask us. Between the members here, we've read about everything that is in your typical bookstore.

That is a great book with a pile of information from the beginning to about 1998.
Don't hesitate to ask questions. I've been reading steadily for 15 years, and I still learn new stuff all the time. Most importantly enjoy these great stories.
