From Comics Continuum:
DC Comics will launch a Batwoman title next year.
Now who will be Batwoman? Well theres a list going around:
1) Former Batgirl now Oracle Barbara Gorodn may walk again if she's Batwoman
2) Helena aka Huntress, mirroring her Batgirl role in No Man's Land
3) Cassie aka the Current Batgirl grown up
4) Kathy Kane in the Post-Crisis timeline
5) Maybe Catwoman becomes a BATwoman to spice up the relationship to the Batman
Anyway, the idea of Batwoman in the Bat-FAMILY reminds me of the Silver Age of that family photo. Batman was the father & Batwoman was the mother. Robin and Bat-Girl were their children with Bat-Mite as the baby. Ace the Bat Hound was the family pet with Alfred as the grandfather with Gordon as the uncle.
The only thing is that I hope Catwoman becomes Batwoman because...it has to be. Relating back to that family picture in the Silver Age, it just seems right for Btuce and Selina to become the crime fighting team. That would be different and...ummm.....growing up.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

I just re-read all the news from the past week on Comics Continuum. I go there daily, but haven't seen any official announcement of this title. Is there some link to some articles that I am missing out on? I didn't see it in today's news either.
Can you post a link to the article? All that I have seen of a Batwoman coming after one year later is a speculation thread on Toon Zone's Comic Forum. Everything pointed to only being speculation and rumor.

So Batwoman is going to be a part of the current continuity (rather current continuity in the future....w/e) that's cool.
After MOTB came out I wondered if Batwoman was going to be brought into the comics (well brought back anyway)
And I didn't see this either, and I check comics continuum all the time, perhaps I missed it.

You didn't miss anything, it was never posted. DC wouldn't be releasing this information this early anyway, Infinite Crisis #2 is just now about to come out so it is too early to really know anything about what will happen after one year later. Unless you are Geoff Johns or Dan Didio.
Since Nate hasn't responded with his source for this bit of news. I am going to lock the thread. I don't want speculation posted as news. It will mislead people.
