One Year Later begins! Lots of great stuff, including the 8-part story spanning Batman and Detective Comics that establishes the tone for Batman books in the post-Infinite Crisis DCU. Written by the great James Robinson, no less. If you don't know who he is, do yourself a favor and pick up some of his Starman series or the Golden Age. You won't reget it.
There is also finally a trade of this spring's Dark Detective six issue series, which was far an away the best Batman story of the past several years, IMO. If you're going to pick it up, you'd do well to read the Strange Apparitions trade first, as it reprints the original run by Englehart and Rogers. A new series by Sam Kieth called "Secrets," which looks interesting.
We also have Batman annual #25, which marks the return of DC's annuals. More imprtantly, it promises to reveal the story behind Jason Todd's return! Must-read stuff there.
Nightwing will (hopefully) become readable again, as new writer Bruce Jones takes over. Ditto for the new Robin team of Beechen and Kerschl. Robin's costume has been tweaked, with mixed results.
We also have another excellent Gotham Central trade, 2 issues of LOTDK that look very good, with fantastic covers by Ariel Olivetti... really, this looks like the best month for Batman readers in quite a while.

We also have Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek laying the groundwork for the Superman books, which should be great stuff indeed. Rucka also begins his run on Supergirl, which promises to make that book something you're not embarassed to read. There's another trade of Rucka's Adventures of Superman run, and a Showcase presents volume featuring the Superman family. Seriously, if you're not reading these Showcase presents books, you really should. They're super cheap, and reprint some great stuff. This looks like some inspired silver age goofiness here. There's also a Showcase volume featuring the Teen Titans, which should be a hit.

INFINITE CRISIS #6 ships, and you can bet your batarang that the cover we see here has been edited. Popular opinion is that all those little shards will contain images that DC dares not show us this early on. We also get Infinite Crisis Special: The OMAC Project, which should be great. IT was my favorite of the Countdown miniseries, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

The new Aquaman debuts in Aquaman: SWord of Atlantis, by Conan writer Kurt Busiek and all-around artistic virtuoso Butch Guice. I've never bought an Aquaman book in my life, but I'll definitely give this one a shot. The new Blue Beetle series launches, which looks very interesting, Hawkman's comic is retitles Hawkgirl, with legendary creators Walt Simonson and Howard Chaykin coming aboard.

Honestly, there is so much great stuff coming in March, I'm tired of typing about it. Just look at the solicits, and be amazed.
