Well, I just reponded here to a poll of whether or not Batman should have the yellow oval on his chest or not. My response to who the definitive Robin is will have the same ring. I grew up with Batman and Robin in the 70's. When Robin joined the Titans, I followed Dick there. After a hiatus, I returned to comics in the 80's and followed Nightwing's adventures in The New Teen Titans. Dick Grayson will always be the ultimate Robin to me. |

I am torn between Dick Grayson and Tim Drake. Dick Grayson has had so many not well known solo adventures that really help make him a better character. Also, he helped make Robin a symbol to the world.
Tim Drake has had such a great characterization. He is really the first Robin to really have a lot of character and still be working with Batman. That was Dick's problem, he was over-shadowed. So I would have to say that Tim is superior.

my favorite is tim because he has the most original background of the different robins...his gear is great, and he dosent really rely on batman but can still work well with him and get the job done...he knows when hes outmatched and needs help

Tim Drake. i agree with those of you that said he is the better detective and works the best with batman than the others. |

i liked all the robins except for the girls; stephanie and carrie.
for w/e reason, it just didnt seem right for robin to be a girl. to me anyway..

Hmmm... Dick or Tim, Dick or Tim... To be fair to Stephanine I have to say I haven't read much with her in it, so I don't know how she was as Robin.
But I think I have to say Tim bacause I think Dick is better as Nightwing, and Tim is happy just being Robin right? But he also does the job quite well....And Tim has better fashion sence.  |

well my favorate is deffinatley drake without a doubt..............everyone he ever knew outside of batman and the bat family has been killed makes ya feel bad for the guy and u can tell that it really bugs him.........makes u wonder if they r going to use that to make him either quit being robin l8ter or if he will become the next batman because hes the most like batman.
graysons all good but i think they always intennded him to leave batman and become his own man. and in my opinon he really is the one d.c. charicter that everyother one has respect for

i defently like Dick, hes the original and the only reason there more then one Robin is because Dick left to become his own. i really like how he is able to leave batman's side and become his own. GREAT FOR HIM!!!

the thing about tim is that i think he's lost a lot more than bruce has, and he's still robin. which i think is awesome and unrealistic, but cool to look up to. none of the robins had it harder than tim.
