I'm not disrespecting his looks. I accept the fact that you love him so much, that's totally fine with me.
I'm just saying, if I loved a fictional character so much, I think I'd take the time to read the material that character was from and get to know the universe and surrounding characters a little better. I can agree with you when you say Batman himself isn't that great...but a lot of the other characters surrounding him rock pretty hard. Sounds like you have lots of time to watch Batman Returns enough to memorize it...the comics are just as enjoyable. :-P
Don't mistake what I'm saying as an insult, honestly, I'm not trying to put you down. I just think it's unfair to like a character so much, then say that the topic that character's from is just "talking about Batman, big whoop". That's like saying all everyone in the United States does is talk about its president. You're waaaay off. Heh. |

OKAY...I'M GOING TO BE CLEAR ABOUT THIS AS POSSIBLE...
I mean on offense to the other characters. By all means I like all of them just fine. And I didn't mean to sound ungrateful when I said "BIG WHOOP". I would NEVER insult the world from which Pengy lives. NEVER. I have gotten to know the characters...they just don't appeal to me the way Ozzy does.
BTW...
I looked at Battle For The Cowl: Issues 2 & 3. Then I went back and looked at The Underground. Ozzy totally looks he's from Batman Returns.

I would...I MEAN I WOULD read the comics and get into it but...I'm so busy. And I don't have the money to buy comics anyway. Battle for the Cowl sounds like a really good read though. I do have a few Batman comics with the Penguin in them. I also have two graphic novels: The Killing Joke. And, The Man Who Laughed.
It's finding the time...plus...I do have my love for Oswald which takes up more time than anything. He's got my full attention 24/7. You know.

Yeah, I don't really like Bruce Wayne himself as a character. He is interesting I suppose, but what draws me to the Batman universe is all of the characters surrounding him, not so much him himself. I like the villains, and the Robins, and the universe in general. Not so much its main character. :P |

Ha ha, it's cool. I can see your point of view. I just kinda take it to heart or whatever because I love Batman because of well...Batman. Like with TDK for instance, people might say the movie's awesome because of The Joker, but I watch it for Batman himself. Anyways, I'm getting off topic here, ha ha. |
