That's pretty cool, nice work. I like the second one a bit better, where the cape is more of a true black. |

this isnt too different from the second one, but i made the girl have dark hair, and made her skin a little different.

Great job, Phil. It's obviously influenced by one of my favorite pieces of cover art by Todd McFarlane...

Batman #423: "You Shouda Seen Him..." - September, 1988
I think the second version is the best for the same reason as Spencer. The darker hair on the unnamed girl in the third version causes Robin's cape to appear a lighter black than the second version. Not sure if you prefer that or not - just an observation.
The only glaring aspect that I think could use some fixing up is the position of his right hand. Those isolated fingers angle upward so much that they look a bit akward, especially since his arm isn't visibly wrapping around her back to help "justify" the angle. I really like your shading/highlighting, though, on the girl's hair and Robin's illustrious cape. Well done.

yep! i should have mentioned it earlier, but yeah. it was influenced by todd mcfarlane's cover.
hmm...ur right. that looks out of place...robin's hands i mean. i should have lined it up more with her arms.

I like it!!
The last one is the best (but not a great deal in it; if being really picky the 1st one is too light - but if you didnt have the comparisons then it's unlikely you'd notice)
Top job.
