It still has a bit to go, namely polishing and a few minor details, but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming out so far. I started it back when Detective #800 first came out, but shelved it for a few months. Modifications include the nose, roof (highly customized from another kit), fins, jet nozzle, and interior upgrades. Let me know what you think:

I like it it looks like one of my fave cars of all time the Viper. If you have Yahoo IM add me as hotmiataownerguy and you will see my real life Miata, it sorta resembles the Batmobile, infact I was thinking of getting a BATMBLE license plate lol. I was not sure what to post the following in but I think I can ID two of the cars on the Batmobile website. in Hush, the Batmobile seems to be based off a Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 and the All Star Batman and Robin appears to based off a TVR Tuscan, a British car that is similar to a Viper in concept just thought I should help out
hey just like the site I LOVE the cool Batmobiles over the years and wanted to join the forums |

Thanks! Yeah, it started as a second-generation Viper. I don't have an IM, sorry - real life fan bats are cool, though.
I agree, the Hush Batmoobile looks like it was inspired by a Lamborghini, but so much has been changed that I couldn't justify calling it the base car. Norm Breyfogle's designs were also inspired by the Countach; not much of the original design left, but if you look at the rear deck you can see it.
You're right, I can see the TVR Tuscan influence in the All-Star car, especially the stacked headlights and recessed hood. |

Looks cool.
I never have been too big on Batmobiles, until lately, I'm wanting to start buying some more of the Corgi series that are out now.

Thanks! Nearly done now:

I smoothed over the vents & scoop on the hood, filled in the license plate & brake light sections of the trunk, added the rocket nozzle, installed the roof light lens, and polished it all out. All that's left is to make & install the rear window and add the "V" shapes to the top & bottom of the windshield. |

I have to start on that one. I see more and more Brothers of the Bat customizing the Batmobiles. I have just finished a custom ThrillKill Batmobile and have had a real hard time posting the pic. Due to very high resolution from the camera I have. Keep up the Grrrreat work.

I did this one in 1/24 - I'm sticking with 1/24~1/25 for the sake of continuity, and fear of what would happen to my collection otherwise
The fins came from a B&R Batmobile; they're a little longer than what the comic shows, but they fit the lines of the Viper perfectly. |

Very cool! Funny, that's almost the exact same jet nozzle I used on the back of my Viper:

...and for anyone interested, here's what my interior looks like:

I still need to find another seat. Passanger side. Make the roof and paint the interior.
You did a great job with the dash. The larger fins are better looking.
I took mine from the ToyBiz Batmobile... along with the tube for the afterburner.
I want to try and custom the Elseworlds: Dark Alliegences Batmobile later on.:lol::lol:
I need a brown Batmobile for my collection.:p
