As cool as it looks, I`m not too fond of the cut off gloves...fingerprints are left and then one thing leads to another. Ok I think maybe, keep the cape the way it is (though I`d prefer it to be shorter), the lenses, and utility belt all based on number 1. I really like that red you used, so maybe replace where you have the black with that color.

I don't like that idea Tim Drake. The whole purpose of this Robin design was to darken Robin's look to suit the movies and I think introducing so much red back into the costume would just spoil it and turn it back into the comic book suit.

yeah, i wanted to change up the robin suit to make it look similar to the batman suit in batman begins. that way, when ppl see robin, theyll think of batman.

thus, batman and robin wud look like they were brothers, or father and son, however way u see bruce and dick's/jason's/tim's relationship.

lol. well...he is a monster. and his son must be a monster as well! so the 2 monsters fight crime together!! lol.

but i think when u spend time with a crazy-psychopath for a long time, u start to be one ur self. and thats what sucks or whats good (depending on what u like) for the robins. since he became psycho at an earlier age than batman, he'll end up being darker than batman(dick grayson working for slade as renegade, jason todd becoming red hood, tim becoming the second and more darker batman in the titans of tomorrow).

yeah....but we are talking about RIGHT NOW not the future. and the robins never really got as obsessed as batman. nightwing isnt that obsessed, tim drake isnt either, and jason todd was just arrogant. they never got to batmans level. i still dont like the idea of robin in BB, all these guys are scared to death of batman then he pops up one night with a kid to his side....thats most certainly going to take away batmans mystique

OOOOh I loves it! I like number one and number four the best. I didn't mind the short sleeves or the yellow, but the final one looks really good too.

Awesome work, I could see them doing somethign like this in the movies if they ever brought him in.

hmm...if i remember correctly, tim got more obsessed than bruce as the second batman in "titans of the future"(comic). and the dick and jason stuff is happening right now. they must be more obsessed than bruce. they practically went to the dark side. renegade and red hood...crazy ppl.

and when u sed robin wud lessen the scariness of batman..wudnt he make him even scarier? i mean...when its night time, u cant really see anything. so u cudnt really tell if robin was a kid or not. so the bad guys wud just see 2 armored-caped guys jumping at them, of coarse theyre gnna be scared as anything. and the robin wud have to be 18 or older. if hes like 12, then yeah...not gnna work.

I always think the Batman/Robin relationship should be brotherly and not the creepy paternal relationship that they had in the comics. In BTAS and Batman Forever they seemed more like they were two individual crimefighters working together, and both Batman experiences made it look like Batman truly made use of Robin's help. In the comics, TV show, and B&R, Robin was a silly kid sidekick who got in the way more often than he helped.

Yeah but I`m thinkin of the red that they used in Daredevil, which was dark and believable and I think that would be acceptable in Nolans mind and at the same time be true to the comics...and Phil, I didn`t mean for the gloves and boots to turn black too lol (that would look wierd...bad actually lol). I think it be cool if in the movie his gloves and boots were a dark dark green, one that you would automatically think is black but as soon as he steps into the brightest light you`ll be like- "oh! wow its green! okay thats cool!"...same thing with the red.

I still think Phil's #4 design is the most perfect Robin design ever (forget what I said about a Nightwing logo!) but whatever.

Phil, Gotham is one of the darkest cities in the DCU. Stop watching Schumacher's films and go and watch the Burton films and Batman Begins, to refresh your memory on just how dark Gotham is!

ummm last time i checked gotham had enough light in it for me to completely see all the characters. what do you think gotham is buddy? a city on constant black out? there are lights you know. you seem to be over exaggerating how dark gotham is. also use rational sense if gotham was so dark criminals couldnt make out ONE detail on batman, then dont you think that would work AGAINST batman as well? not seeing the criminal you are punching can really drop your crime fighting reputation...

well city full of lights meaning that theres buildings with lights and street lights. i mean...unless evryone in gotham doesnt turn on their lights and all the street lights are broken or sumthing. lol.

but yea i agree with DK666. cuz if it was THAT dark, then batman wud have a hard time getting around him self. lol. so basically, batman can see w/e the thugs can see. and obviously, batman knows what hes doing.
