the concept for this story is a cross-company idea. In the Beyond universe, what if the Venom Symbiote returned to Earth and used Terry McGinnis as a host. It would turn Batman into the primary villian-against the JLU (Superman, GL, Warhawk, Aquagirl and Barda) |

A comic maybe but I dunno about a fan film...but like why Terry? Why not Bruce sometime during his prime?...any real reason?

i think Terry would have a cooler look to his costum with a symbote, than Bruces costume would look with a symbote. Wasnt there a comic, or TPB that was titled Batman Venom, but there wasnt any relation to the symbote right?? I also like that big bat logo there, looks pretty cool. I dunno, i can see a fan film out of this, it would take a lot to make it really good, but yes i could see a fan film. Also as Tim Drake said, i could see a comic out of this too.

The Black costume requires a very high budget to make in real life. First you've got to get a live action costume, which cost 100,000 per costume in Spider-man 3. You could go for something cheaper, say a latex costume (like the one in Spawn) but it's still very expensive. Then you've got to have CGI, so you'd have to pay a profesional CGI company hundreds of thousands of dollars to have a rendering thats at least semi-believable. Then you've still got to pay for actors, sets, crews, and equipment. So unless you're a millionare, or have a lot of great friends in high places; this project is impossible.
An intersting side note, the Black costume was originally soposed to have a Red emblem; but the inking prossess at the time made the Red ink blotch with the Black, so they left the emblem uncolured; so it became white.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

That is a pretty cool idea. It could be a Spider-Girl/Batman Beyond type crossover, since both could be construed to be in the same time period. I think that May dabbled in using the symbiote suit too. I would read a script.
Batman: Venom was a trade reprint of a storyline that ran through Legends of the Dark Knight #16-20. It was a story of Batman failing to save a kidnapped child and deciding to take a drug that was given to him that would enhance his strength. It is avery addictive and Batman is forced to put himself in rehab. The drug is Venom, the same substance that made Bane powerful enough to break Batman. Granted Bane's version was significantly more concentrated and powerful, but it is a cool story that justifies why Batman does not take measures to enhance his strength.

i did a fan fic set in the modern Batman timelime...so I wanted to play in the Beyond time line. I'm working on this Fan Fic and another one..as just stories now. "Batman Beyond: Venom" and "Batman Beyond: A Nightmare Reborn" which will all have continuity with my "Batman: Cadmus" story i wrote a few months back.
thanx for the feedback. and i apologize about the graphic size. |
