Hey guys, I don't know if anyone's interested but I'm thinking of writing a fan-fic series.

In another thread, we were talking about potential Batman crossovers. I mentioned how I'd like to see a Spider-man/Batman cross over that's tonally similair to the movies. And that got me thinking... Why don't I write one? I'm trying to get better as a writer, so why don't I just do a fan-fic to try it out?

Batman is basically the same as the Nolan movies, set following the events of TDK. Spider-man is more or less set after Spider-man 3. With a few changes to make it more like the comics.

The characters featured, aside from Spidey and Bats, would include Fox, Alfred, Mary Jane (a supermodel rather than an actress, like in the comics) and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (probably modeled after Michael Clarke Duncan in Daredevil (the one good casting choice in that movie) as well as some suprise villains from both sides.

The Pokemonish title is because the story will be written in first person perspective, alternating between Spider-man and Batman from chapter to chapter.

So what do you all think? Sound good? Any suggestions?

Great ideas! I think it would be cool if in the end you left it so we could have another possible crossover spin-off with Iron Man or Daredevil and Batman.

Thanks for the comments, RBB.

I actually just saw Iron Man for the first time today (after impatiently waiting 2 for it to come on HBO, I finally broke down and bought the DVD lol) and am DEFFINETLEY considering doing a cross-over with him and Batman.

I'm working on the first chapter of Spidey/Bats. So far, it's going to be split into two parts, one focusing on Batman and the other on Spider-man. But I may raise the number to four parts with two for each character.

Hey Razhwurz this story of yours sounds like it's goanna be pretty good, and I don't lie to you when I say my favorite Marvel/DC crossover characters fighting side by side is Batman and Spiderman. They're so different so it is cool to see them interact with one another. I'll definately toon in to your story.

I got the idea from this guy on YouTube. He's an editor and had the idea of "Stark/Wayne." http://www.youtube.com/user/Lucaxmen3#p/u

Here's another fan edited video (different editor) that I thought might give you some ideas...
