If I was to make a batmobile to scale with most action figures, what scale am I looking at? I was thinking around 1:14, but I'm not sure.

Newest Figure: Batman TAS: Combat Belt Batman - Kenner
Newest Comic Book: Supreme Power 3 (vol 13-18) |

The regular Mattel line is kind of a standard size for action figures, and is 1/12 scale. Other lines, like the animated figures or DCD, vary a bit from there. An easy way to figure out the scale for a specific line is to measure Batman: his height in the comics is pretty constantly given at 6'2", or 74" tall. Measure the height of the figure (not counting the ears) and divide by that number. So if you had a figure 4.5" tall:
74 (Batman's height) ? 4.5 = 16.4
The exact scale would be 1/16.4, but you can round it off to 1/16 |
