Happy Halloween, everyone! We don't really get trick-or-treaters, but to get in the spirit we've spent the last month watching various Halloween-themed movies. Tonight is going to be either The Crow or Event Horizon. |

Happy Halloween!!!! Awww that so cute Darknight!!!
Since I couldn't get my Batgirl costume done, I'm going to be Catwoman. I made the whole vinyl Returns style Catwoman suit. It came out pretty good for a last minute thing.

I AM the ratfink here, because I personally do not observe Halloween because of religious considerations. But I understand people wanting to dress up, since I have been a henchman to Catwoman. Tough call for me.

My town's trick or treat night is a few nights before Halloween, and that's the day I usually celebrate by closing all the blinds, turning off the lights, and watching Interview With The Vampire while eating chocolate (And beef jerky) and hoping no trick or treaters visit.
So today I'm probably going to eat some Hershey's choclate, watch a movie or two, read Batman:Haunted Night, and then go to bed.

I did some Spooktacular Comic Book Reviews today. :p If you don't feel like reading 'em, at least take a peek at the artwork... please...
Batman #522 - "Swamp Things"
Legends of the Dark Knight #37 - "Mercy"

Out in the country, we get maybe four groups of kids at the most. A few neighbors and my niece and nephew. Maybe my brother will dress his son up as a superhero for his first Halloween, like Darknight's girl. Not that he'll even know the difference.

I guess Superman Returns had a bit of impact in Beyond's house. Great pictures. We didn't actually do anything, but eat candy. We live in a neighborhood with quitea few people in it and only had like 10 kids come by. The community events around here are really popular though so no big surprise there. Sadly we didn't evn put my daughter back in her costume. The day of teh photos was more than enough.

Well, instead of watching movies and eating chocolate, I taught my brother how to play Justice League Heroes, then I watched House M.D. and a Nick @ Nite marathon of old Roseanne Halloween specials.
Interesting note, one of the Roseanne episodes had a main character going to a Halloween party as Batman because various gay men had been hitting on him and he wanted to secure his masculinity by going as a superhero; and suprisingly enough there were no jokes about Batman having a teenage male sidekick and sliding down poles.
