My brother, Aaron, age 15 and weight isn't determined yet is going to sleep at his school Friday night (11-18) for this homeless thing. I don't want him to go because he'll get sick, then he'll spread his sickness, and it'll come to me then vice versa.
Besides, is it worth it sleeping in a box in a SCHOOL the whole night right now since its cold out but if you're not one of the first 100 to get there, you have to sleep OUTSIDE?!
I mean we did make a donation, good enough right? So is it worth it?
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.

i think the donation was good enough. sleeping outside is pretty extreme. but u shudnt stop him if he wants to. IMO. i dont know though...i wudnt really know unless MY brother was doing this.

Heheh. Sounds pretty funny. I guess it can give an idea of what it's like being homeless. I wouldn't worry too much though, I'm sure everyone will have a lot of blankets and clothes to stay warm. I've camped in the woods on several occassions with nothing more than a sleeping bag. Besides laying there not being able to fall asleep, there's not much to be concerned for in decent weather. But I dunno what it's like over there this time o' year, we just had our first snowfall last night. Took me an hour to drive a 25 minute drive home.

I can see your point, though as long as he's dressed appropriately, it should be pretty safe. Especially at the school where I'm sure there will be plenty of supervision. |

I don't think you have anything to worry about.
It's gonna be fine!
