Hopefully we'll get the new BYTB Staff Profiles up soon. But this will do for now...

I've been a Batfan since I can remember. I have plenty of Batman and DC Comics action figures and have collected all sorts of other DC (mostly Batman) merchandise for a little over a decade.

I'm really into artistry and creativity (whether or not I'm any good). I'm developing my drawing skill and going for an art-related college degree. I customize action figures and like to write occassionally. A dream job would involve being a creative hand in a Batman project, be it comic art or action figure sculpting. But who knows what I'll end up doing.

I also love music. Heavy metal such as Metallica, Tool and Fear Factory, Rock such as Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, and easy-going acoustic stuff like Days of the New and Dave Matthews Band. Hopefully I'll get a guitar within a year or so, I've been spending a lot on comics and action figures lately.

Although it's not been real great lately, I'm a wrestling fan. Some my favorites are Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan. Right now I'm more interesting in researching old wrestling history and getting to watch classic matches. The new Bret Hart DVD set's been good.

Movie-wise the Star Wars saga is my absolute favorite. I saw Revenge of the Sith last summer and it had to be the most powerful movie experience I've ever had. The saga's not without its flaws, but I still love it to death. It is a blessing to finally see Batman done right on the big screen too.

Well, that should about do 'er.

Hm. I always thought of religion being more of a philisophical life choice than an actual interest. Better to be interested than annoyed I suppose. I always thought it was stupid that people go to church as a serious thing, yet complain about how boring it is.

Speaking of the origin of man, I'm interested in the theory of evolution. Did a few reports on it in high school, unintentionally made some kids angry. Not so great when they're getting to grade your presentation, but getting my point across was worth it.

Interesting, I never really considered religon an "interest" either. It's a bit like saying I'm interested in my wife...technically true, but the phrasing doesn't really seem significant enough.

In more of a "hobby" type interest, my primary is model building. Typically 1/24 - 1/25 TV & movie cars, though I'll work on anything from custom toys to X-planes if they catch my attention. That's what led me into the Batman universe, actually, was working on a complete history of the Batmobile from 1939 to today. I also collect figures, mostly mechanical beings like TFs, Star Wars droids, and other robots.

Actually, I was fortunate enough that my good friend gave me his board, since he quit. So, for some stuff I won't be able to tell you what brand and such, but here's what I can tell you:
Fiberlight, Bam Magera board
Independent trucks
EDK ADEC5 bearings
Spitfire wheels (I believe)
And not too long before he gave it to me he got new griptape for it, but I don't know what kind it is, it's new, so that's about all I care about.

Yeah, I had some Artos, but I got some new shoes; Vans.

Oh, and my other interests include: Video games, Megaman and Spongebob Squarepants.
