I recently bought the Hellboy DVD and think it is an awesome movie. Anyone agree?

I bought the VHS used because I hadn't seen it. I wasn't all that impressed with it. I have seen worse movies, but it just didn't have the fun element that I though tit would have. Maybe I should rewatch it.

I thought it was good, but I haven't read the comics so I didn't have any expectations going in.

I thought it was great! Lots of fun, good effects, generally excellent performances. Ron Perlman was perfect casting, no question about it.

I had read the story where he has to put the corpse back into its grave before seeing the movie. I guess I expected the story to be shorter or something. I really think that I just wasn't in the right mode when I watched it. I'll probably give it a shot again in a few days.

I thought it was kinda cool. I've never read the comic, but I heard that instead of white, they always start with a black backround and add colors over that. The film reflected the comics in the way that it was all done in shades of blue, red, and gold (and dark or course). I thought that was really cool. I may watch it again to get more out of it.

I really liked this movie. Can't wait for the sequel.

That was a great story. big grin I have a few of the books, and they're all good stuff. I love Mignola's art; I'll buy pretty much anything he does.
