(In a nutshell) No. I didn't realise we already had it!

You know it?s funny. All these years and I?ve never seen A Christmas Story. I don?t know why, I just haven?t. I never saw the Godfather either until I bought the DVD set this year and that freaked a LOT of people out that I never saw that movie. I?ve never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show either and that one I own on DVD. LOL.
OK, enough about films I?ve never seen.
Christmas is a time to be Thankful. I for one am thankful for my wife and kid. I am thankful for this board and the wonderful people I?ve met here. I?m thankful for all the people I?ve met online and being able to touch the lives of people I will never see. I?m thankful that I live in a Country that allows me the luxury of being able to collect the toys I want to have and I?m thankful for the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who make that possible.
Merry Christmas every one, may God bless you one and all.

Well I've had a nice Christmas; I got my two favorite Miyazaki films, Nausica? of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky, on DVD. I also got two Batman Graphic novels that I've been ashamed of not owning. I got a new watch (old one broke resently), some new pairs of pants, a Marvel Superheroes Calander, and of course a T-shirt with one of my favorite Alex Ross drawings on it (Look at my avatar).
I've also eaten so much good food I'm feeling kind of ill. I'm goin' to go have some cookies now.

I've often wondered about all that Anime stuff, but don't know anything about it. I might stick a couple on my Amazon rental list; I saw Ghost In The Shell and must admit I wasn't totally taken by it; although I'd like to try it again (I watched it with my girlfriend and her complete lack of interest probably didn't help "how old are we?" "why are watching a cartoon on a Saturday night?" etc).
What are the graphic novels then?
I've had a Star Wars & Doctor Who Christmas.
Vicar of Dibley (UK Sitcom) is now and I've just given up on it - It used to be very funny but this is pretty lame.

Christmas was good. The kids were real happy with what they got. For my son it was an Imaginext/Pirates Christmas with a little JLU thrown in (the only Batman toys he got was Batgirl and Robin, but shoot, he's got almost all of The Batman stuff anyway) My daughter got alot of Barbies and Disney Fairies stuff.
We spent time with my folks, then head to my grandparents where we spent time with family that..well, lets just say we aren't really all that close. We came home and let Christmas story play in the Background while we ate, and played games.
I love this time of year and I'm sad to see it go. Not because of the presents, and no matter your religion or how you celebrate. It's a great time of year, and I'm blessed to have a wonderful family and great friends!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I agree with all that Beyond and I'm glad to say likewise - the only bit I'd add is that I love the presents too!

Happy Holidays. I just completed my Corgi 1930s to 2000s collection xmas. I can't wait for the new line up from Hotwheels BATMOBILE. I will be at all the srore everyday next year. I am looking for a nice curio cabinet si I can display my BATMOBILES, the cabinet has to look like it came from the batcave. My favorite movie starts with animated Rudolph the red nose reindeer, then frosty, the Santa claus is coming to town anf the finale is Batman Returns.B) |
