haha so i see we have atleast ONE soccer (football as i prefer to call it) fan on this site other than me huh? i know he can dive alot now and then but he hasnt really done anything out of diving that would make me label him as a cheater, and if you've been keeping tabs on Cristiano Ronaldo you've seen that he has started to mature as a player, he passes alot more, dives less and holds on to the ball for less time. But its hard to be mad at only c.ronaldo for diving here and there as almost every player has done it a couple of times in his career. Thierry Henry who's supposed to be the poster child for joga bonito dived a couple times this world cup in an effort to win penalties for france, its inevitable. But anyway, where are you from? if you hate c.ronaldo i'm guessing england? lol i'm brazilian
Yes, English. Many blame Ronaldo for us getting knocked out of last world cup. That aside, he's been (with debateable exception of Didier Drogba) the best player this year. Personal petty anti-utd prejudices aside, he's been a sensation. Henry needs to turn up at big games before anyone of any note will take him seriously as a truly great player. When it really matters, quite frankly, he's usually somewhere else (and how my Arsenal mates hate it when I point that out - usually with a smugness that makes them want to be sick).
& back on actual subject, I'm going to see Ghost Rider in the week! |

I think if rooney would have kept cool and not shoved c.ronaldo, he would have stayed in the game. The referee wasnt going to card rooney for stepping on the portuguese player, but things happen right? look at zidane, if he hadnt headbutted materazzi france would have won the cup(which i would have preferred versus italy winning since brazil had been eliminated and i,quite frankly, dislike the italian national team) and i have to agree that c.ronaldo, thus far, has been this year's best player, i like seeing him mature as a player
