How do you determine how much you sell it for? I've always wondered about that.
The only thing stopping you from success is doubt. |

Value tends to relate to the rarity of an item and how much people are typically willing to pay for it. I sometimes get emails from people with old Batman merchandise asking me for an estimate. I usually try and give a value range based on my old price guides, my personal knowledge of Batman collectibles, and sometimes by checking recent eBay auction results.
Looks like Peter's auctions are already over.

@Caleson, I have three paperback books:
1) DC SPECIAL BLUE RIBBON DIGEST VOLUME 1, NUMBER 2, MAY/JUNE 1980-THE FLASH AND HIS FRIENDS
2) THE BEST OF DC BLUE RIBBON DIGEST VOLUME 3, NUMBER 16, SEPTEMBER 1981-SUPERMAN 7 MILESTONE ADVENTURES
3) WORLD'S FINEST, 1978 FROM TEMPO BOOKS
I've had these things for as you can tell over 30 years and wonder if they are worth anything and if so how much. |

Those aren't typically listed in comic book price guides, at least not that I've noticed. However, I do see a lot of them on eBay, though none of your specific books, and they don't take in too much, sometimes around $3 or $4. A few of them start very low and get no bids whatsoever. I own a "Batman Family" book from that same series, Best of DC #51:

I got it at a flea market for I think $1. It has classic '70s stories like "Daughter of the Demon." Neat little compilation and interesting cover art.

Thanks Caleson, as I said I've had these things for a long time and maybe instead of selling them I can let my 5 yr old nephew read them because he is just getting into liking superheroes especially BATMAN |

They may not be worth much to collectors, but they may end up being pretty special to your nephew years from now. I've got a four year old nephew myself who's into superheroes, but seeing as his dad doesn't care to go further than pay child support, I haven't seen the little guy in almost a year. Hopefully your situation goes a bit better.
