Does anyone remember; I had asked if anyone
knew where this Batman Store Display came from...

Well I know now...

How did I get this answer??? $49.87...

I bought a new one on E-Bay last month and it
finally arrived today...yesyesyes

This time all the pieces are with it...

Its finally back home...( It took me over 6 years to find
another...)

You see; around 15 years ago, I found my first one at a toy
show...It cost me $23.00 bucks...

I got married and moved into my wife's house and I was
afraid to damage it in storage, so me and the wife started to
bring in some boo-koo bucks on E-Bay from our collection...yes

***NOTICE THE WORD... OURS*** Being married will do this to
the words... mine, me, all mine, just mine and my collection...mad

For many years then passed and I started to bring my collection back
from the dead and I really wanted to see if this can be found again...

It took me awhile but here it is now at home in its new Cave...

This will never be sold ever again...

Till next time...rolleyes

That's really cool, inzo. Thanks for sharing. What year is the item from? And do you know what specifically this was in promotion of (movie/action figures/comic books and what particular retailer)?

I remember seeing this in someone's collection earlier. I think FlaBat has one. Do you mind if I add your photos to BYTB's Ads & Promos archive? Otherwise, I could just have a thumbnail and link to your Photobucket gallery.

You can have the pictures...

The main instructions are dated at
the lower left hand corner of
5/92...

Also the instuctions have diagrams
of setting up the store end cap with
party supplys...

Banners, ballons, cups, plates,
Wrapping paper and other stuff...

Could be factory Card stores...

Thanks a lot for the donation. You'll be credited in the archives of course.

May 1992 was shortly before Batman Returns hit theaters, but this looks more comic book styled. Although, back then comic book imagery would've more likely had a blue cowl & cape than black. So while it's somewhat reminiscent of the Keaton look, I don't think it's directly intended to be a Batman Returns piece, unless of course the party supplies had Returns imagery.

No I don't have one, but I sure wish I did.

This is my second one that I have...

I sold my first one seven years ago...no

I'll never do that again...

It only took me seven long years to see it
show up on E-Bay and for the low price I paid for
it...

Shocking to this day...

I still would have paid over $500.00 for this if
it came to it...

I do strongly believe in the phrase...

"You do not know what you have, until you let it go..."

This one is staying with me forever...yes
