Not really much of a news item, but TV Shows on DVD.com has put up a good article clearing up a lot of the rumors that have been floating around.

Like a lot of other people, I got an e-mail update from Monsters In Motion listing the upcoming DVD set as the '66 series. They have since updated their product page, it looks like there was just some confusion between "Batman Season 1" and "The Batman Season 1" |

It all comes down to money and who holds the license. It?s the same way with the Batmobile from the TV series. I would love to see a 1:18 scale die cast of that Batmobile, but it won?t happen for the same reason.
