I think they should show him in tights on the last scene of the finale, while playing the Superman theme song in the background of course  .

The WB's Official Description for : "Solitude"
PROFESSOR FINE CONVINCES CLARK TO DESTROY THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE ? After Martha (Annette O'Toole) contracts a strange disease and is given hours to live, Clark (Tom Welling) turns to Professor Fine (guest star James Marsters), who convinces Clark that Jor-El is the one responsible for her illness and the only way to save her is to destroy the Fortress of Solitude. However, once the two arrive at the Fortress, Professor Fine tries to free Zod and kill Clark.
TV Guide's "Solitude" Description!
When Martha is struck by a mysterious flash of light, Clark thinks it may have something to do with Jor-El's prediction that he'll lose someone close to him. He turns to Professor Fine for answers and is told that his mother only has a few hours to live.

Superman Trailer was good, but lacked depth.

In The second half of Now Playing.com?s interview with Smallville co-creator Al Gough tells NP that Clark Will wear The Super suit in The series finale.
Here's a brief snippet from the article:
?I say seven seasons,? Gough admits. ?It seems to be what shows in this genre can do and do well. Certainly in our case suddenly you?re bumping up against ?Why the f*ck isn?t he putting on the suit?? Wow, "SOLITUDE" was A SUPER EPISODE The Best episode so far this season.
(1) "Solitude" - Best Episode
(2) "Arrival"
(3) "Exposed"
(4) "Splinter"
(5) "Aqua"
(6) "Hidden"
(7) "Mortal"
(8) "Thirst" - Worst Episode.
"Solitude" The Whole Episode was great from begining to End.

This is a potential spoiler, but doesn't name names, just a time when something will happen in this season's Smallville
It seems like the death that was told in one of the early season episodes will happen. I personally figuered that it might be swept under the rug. I saw in an Entertainment Weekly that someone will die in the 100th episode of the series, airing in February.
Any ideas as to who it is?

LEX IS VISITED BY THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE - Lex is given an envelope with damaging information that will destroy Jonathan's life and must decide whether he will use it as it will also bring harm to Clark and Martha. Before he can decide what to do, Lex is shot and falls into a coma. He dreams that his mother ( guest star Alisen Down) visits him and shows him the life he could lead if he walks away from his father and LuthorCorp. In this alternate life, Lex is happily married to Lana with a baby on the way. Meanwhile, Chloe asks Clark to use his powers to deliver Christmas presents to needy kids. Erica Durance also stars.

What is up with this "Smallvile Movie Event"? It's scheduled for 2 hours on Thursday. It looks to be a summary of the entire season so far, but if anyone knows for sure, please post.

It was the season 4 Finale episode "Commencement" and season 5 premiere "Arrival". It was aired like a movie instead of an Episode .

The WB's Official description for "Fanatic,
"THE RACE GETS UGLY BETWEEN JONATHAN AND LEX - Jonathan receives threats on his life from a mysterious source who urges him to drop out of the senate race. Later, Clark finds his dad bloody and beaten and becomes determined to find his attacker. He later discovers that a group of Lex's followers are determined to do anything to see that Lex wins the election. Lois' life is threatened when she's captured and asked to assassinate Jonathan during his speech. Lionel offers to give Martha money to help Jonathan's campaign. Lana is convinced that the answers she is looking for lie in researching the first meteor shower.
Allison Mack also stars.

It was interesting in this article how they kept calling Smallville's super-speed character The Flash. Maybe only a real obsessive fanboy like me would notice this, but the character was more like the comics character Impulse, the descendant of Barry Allen (Flash II) from the future. His name was Bart Allen (same as Impulse). I realize we don't know if that's the right one out of all the fake IDs he had, but I believe it's the one he settled on. I got a big kick that the names on the fake IDs he had were all the secret identities of the various Flash characters. Bart's character was much like Impulse, in that he had little self-control and was likely to do whatever came into his head. |
