According to the website Superhero Times(http://www.superherotimes.com), there appears to be a bit of a strange new Target Exclusive Superman Returns set. This set features a Superman Returns figure that comes with a glass cup. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the Superman Returns figure could be that 9" Rotocast version. Not that much info seems to be release about this at the moment. Here's the link from Superheros Times related to this, and keep in mind that the photo is kind of small, so you may not be able to make out some of the details:

Okay, a month or 2 ago, I actually saw these in a Loblaws store(Canadian Grocery store, but some do sell toys sometimes). There about 3 or 4 versions of this set. They actually feature a small glass with a 5" Superman Returns figure with no accessories. From what I can tell, the 3 or 4 figures(Judging from their artuclation, and how the figures look like) are the Clark To Superman figure(Without accessoires), Up Up And Away Superman(The 1 that has that action feature making it look like it's leaping into action. This is probably the only 1 that comes with an accessory, because it has the pin to help in it's action feature), and The Solar Flare Superman(AKA: Re-Entry Superman, however this verison of the toy doesn't have the marks that indicated the figure re-entrying the Earth's atomsphere. I know it's the Solar Flare Superman figure because of the way the face is done on the figure). I have a feeling that there's 1 more, and if there is, it's the 1 that was used for both the X-Ray Alert Superman, and the 1 that comes with a broken wall. |
