that one looks interesting...i think i might like that segment the most. focus on the psychology of batman rather than the fighting and what not.

I believe that the release date is 7/8 for Gotham Knight. But leave the 15th of July circled anyway since that's the day that "Birds of Prey" is released on DVD. |

i saw the movie, and it is GOOOOD!!!
i liked pretty much all of the segments, they were all really good. "field test" was kinda out there for me. it wasn't bad, just out of place...to me anyway.
but all together, it flowed nicely. the animation was great in all 6. although the first one was a bit simplistic, the backgrounds were amazing.
"working through pain" was really interesting. the message is a little unclear at first, but the second time around it starts making sense. you just have to watch it. when the movie comes out, i'd like to hear what people have to say about it. it's deep, and there are probably many different interpretations. i'll share mine when july 8th hits, haha.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this much better than the previous two DC Animated movies. The short story format came out well.
The only issue I had is that Kevin Conroy's voice did not fit the animation style to me. I liked Conroy on Batman: TAS through JLU, and I liked the Japanese art style. The two just did not mix well. It's not really something I can explain.
That is really a small issue, I think that the majority of us will definitely enjoy it.
My favorite part was probably Field Testing. That was probably some of the best characterization of Batman that I've seen in a while (unfortunately including the comics).
