i was just wondering what is Everybody,s Favorite Season, of Batman Beyond, Mine, is The Second Season, i really enjoyed that Season alot, i thought that Season was great. |

I'd have to say the 2nd season too - although I've only just recently seen it for the 1st time and maybe it's swayed me a little.
I don't get to see these things til they come out on DVD - I'm in the UK and I don't even know if BB has even been on TV here (If it has, I personally have never seen it). |

I really can't remember all of the 2nd episodes, but i guess it was the best. Why was the show cancelled? Do you think they will ever put it back on?

WB canceled it after 52 Episodes were produced. It was enough for syndication.
In fact, the last two episodes never aired on KidsWB, but on Cartoon Network

Batman Beyond was not my favorite show. There were a few good episodes but it was no BTAS. Favorite season would be season 1.

i loved both seasons. every episode was amazing. i liked 2nd season the best though.

Yes, while some episodes are campy, the series as a whole is a great addition to the Timm/Dini era.
The thirs season is on of the better ones in my opinon. You have two two-Parters, The Call and Curse of the Kobra. The call is the first time we see the Justice League Unlimited, and Curse of the Kobra has Batman saving the world. Both awesome eps.

I agree with Beyond - BB was a great addition to the Timm & Dini canon. It would be hard to be too critical. BB Return Of The Joker is genuinely essential. I also especially liked the BB/JLU crossover...
If I had to list the various Timm/Dini programmes in order, I'd put BB at the bottom of the pile, but that could give the impression I didnt like it, and that simply wouldnt be true. It just everything else is SO strong.
Batman Beyond was a bit different - sort of Batman meets BladeRunner.
My order for Timm/Dini;
1) Batman TAS
2) Superman TAS
3) Justice League Unlimited
4) Justice League
5) Batman Beyond
JL & JLU might well swap around in order, depending on the day.......
I always make sure I've got enough money for the Timm/Dini Boxsets when they're released - no matter what I've got to pay for in a given month, they're always snapped up immediately........... |

i also think the 2nd series but the return of the joker was soo cool i remember the first time i watched it i was like "WOW" especially the flash bk showing showing the joker changing tim drake in to "lil J J" was the joker being killed was amazing. i saw a different verision of that on yuotube the other day which was even darker where instead of the joker slipping in water and getting electrocuted tim just shoots him with a gun and the joker also stabs batman in the leg.
i have heard from a m8 that the people that did "the Batman" serises are working on a superman verison in the same style should b interesting i didnt like the first 3 series that much but the new 4th one is alot better. still miss btas and tnba tho. still think they should of had more episodes with nightwing in!! |
