I was just wondering if anyone knew of any plans for ANY more DTV's or such. I'm pretty sure MOTB was the last and will be the last, but there's always rumors and BS floating around here and there. Anyone know of anything definate?

Nope, the crew has moved on. Timm is working on the Superman/Doomsday DTV coming this fall.

Man that's depressing sad But even the Timm Superman TAS wasn't half bad.

Yeah, Mystery of the Batwoman wasn't exactly the definition of the Bruce Timm/Paul Dini era, but it was fun enough for the last direct-to-video. I suppose we got the best closure we'll get with "Epilogue." As great as the Timm/Dini universe was, everything has to end somewhere, and I'm glad we have such a big collection to choose from.

In retrospect, I find it remarkable how much area was covered throughout the '90s; it's really incredible to think a whole series was dedicated to a futuristic Batman. And there's still a good amount of Batman Beyond and Superman: TAS episodes I haven't seen, so I'm comfortable with the closing of this chapter in DC animation and grateful to have grown up with it. It'll be a long time before another will ever top it.

Vol 4 is good - but not on a par with the previous 3 boxes.

I doubt very much it'll ever be topped. If it is, I'd like to see it.

If someone had said to me, before I'd ever seen BTAS, that a cartoon would go on and become (alongside Doctor Who & Dads Army) my favourite ever television program, I'd have said they were full on barmy. I love animation now and I'm always looking for decent stuff to watch, and it's entirely down to BTAS, STAS, BB, JL & & JLU.

Someone I work with knew that I liked Batman, and gave me a vid of BTAS and said "you've gotta watch this". I had it for weeks before I played it. I nearly gave it back without bothering, it was only out of politeness that I actually had a look.......

& it was actually BTAS that got me back into comics (after about a decade away).

Well Batman: Mystery of Batwoman is a new "Timm" DTV.
But other than that I see no other new "Timm" DTVs in the future because supposedly that era is over (but I hope differently!!).
