I did see the Gotham Knight animated movie. It was pretty cool. I'm so behind in reading the comics and graphic novels though. Sorry if I don't know what or who you guys are talking about. I'm sure what ever other Batman release they'll put out, it'll be good. I don't have any doubts about that.
The Long Halloween sounds pretty cool. I think I might have picked it up and flipped through it while I was at a comic book store or something but it didn't have Pengy in it, so I didn't buy it. I have standards when it comes to comics and stuff. Anyway, I did however take the time to look at it and it did have some good art work and stuff.
Like I said, whatever Batman release they come out with next, I'm willing to watch it.
You should totally read the Long Halloween. If ANYTHING is going to turn you on to characters other than Penguin that will.
Plus I believe Penguin shows up in the sequal book.

^^That's true. TLH is like an essential graphic novel. That's why I think it'd be good for a DTV. I still haven't read Dark Victory but I suppose I need to.

OH YA! Now that I know he shows up in the sequel book, I'm gonna have to buy them. Thank you so much Razhwurz. I knew I could count on someone to give me that sort of information.
I think they should take the 2004 The Batman cartoon series, flip it and make it look like Batman: Gotham Knight did. Story line would need changing, only a few villains would be in it but Penguin would look oh so cute all animated and what not. The DTV could be for: if they ever figure out if The Riddler will be in Batman 3.
If not...it was good idea anyway.

No one's really mentioned this before but I think a pretty cool DTV Batman movie would be Gotham Underground. It wasn't that complicated and there's a ton of character that could be introduced.
Erin, I suggest you read that mini-series. The Penguin is a central character to the story and it revolves around him.
The only thing stopping you from success is doubt.

Thank you kpangilinan! Anyone else got any suggestions for comics I'd probably might want to read? As long as it has Pengy in it. Sorry, but the other villains just don't do it for me, they hog the spotlight and most of them talk too much too.
