Interesting. So with the end of Teen Titans and JLU comes the premiere of Legion of SuperHeroes and Supergirl: The Animated Series? Seems strange, considering JLU's got to be the best DCU animated series in existance. And if Supergirl was to get her own series, you'd think it would've been back when Superman: TAS was coming to a close.

isnt that the team with like...braniac 5 and karate kid and all those weird kids? lol. and i think superboy is in it too....is he?
and as for the supergirl series....sounds weird. btu who knows? i might like it.

3 of my favourite shows are "as good as cancelled": JLU, Arrested Development, and Stella.
Seriously, JLU is one of the best shows on TV. The fact that the Joker has been totally removed from it because he is now owned by "The Batman" is one of the most sickening things I've heard.
I'd rather they cancell SMALLVILLE than JLU!

Didn't someone also say somewhere that JLU's future was uncertain at this point?
Supergirl and the Legion animated series? I thought that was just a comic thingy, and one episode of this season. I didn't have any clue that there was supposedly a cartoon coming.
I don't think it'd work regardless, I've never found the Legion very interesting personally and I don't think they could have a show and have it be succesful. Supergirl is awesome, and popular enough to get ashow, but I still don't think it would work.
I think the whole licensing thing is a stupid reason for the show to end, one of the great thigns about JLU was that it wasn't Superman Batman Joker and other big namers alll the time, we got smaller characters put into the spotlight and I think that worked to the shows advantage.
Why can't DC just stop with the character licensing nonsense, all these weird rules are doing is making fans get upset.

I really don't see how you cancel a show as good as Justice League Unlimited, only to replace it with something like the Legion. Supergirl's a little more sensible, but I still hate the idea. Sense when did she become so popular? JLU gave the oppourtunity for stories about both well-established characters and rarely seen ones teamed together, with a new group every week. Legion of Super-Heroes contains very few widely-familiar characters at all, not to mention horrifyingly tacky names.
Characters like The Joker not being able to appear on JLU is stupid, especially considering how different that version is from in The Batman. That pretty much seals the idea of ever seeing Hamill's portrayl of the character again, and with the entire cancellation of JLU, Conroy's Batman. Maybe we can hope for a Direct-to-Video? They could easily muster one more great story out of all these characters and all their history. It would only be right.

I wouldn't be suprised. Bruce Timm and the gang have already got a brand-new Superman Direct-to-Video DVD coming out this year - Superman: Brainiac Attacks(with Tim Daly returning to do the voice of Superman, AND promises of Supes finally getting in touch with his feelings for Lois). A Batman or JLU DVD, hopefully with Hamill's Joker in it, is probably being considered.
And don't forget that Justice League Season One is coming out on DVD this year. If it's sales do really well, that alone could do wonders for the future of the DCAU.
Now, I haven't seen any of JLU season 5 yet, and I'd like to ask if the possible relationship between Wonder Woman and Batman progresses any further. Can anyone tell me please?

JLU/JL has had a good run, it's too bad that it's coming to an end though.
The thought of Conroy's Batman gone is really sad. But yeah, we can hope for a DTV, JLU hasn't had one yet anyway. Or maybe a Batman DTV, but I don't think that would happen, even though I would like to see another one real bad.
I haven't seen any of season 3 yet, hopefully I'll get a chance in the future.

Aw man! I've been downloading a lot of episodes lately (I know, I know, but JLU isn't on over here) and the show rules! I just saw Epilogue, and...wow! That's all I can say. Another great episode is Divided We Fall, when Flash enters the Speed Force. Brilliant show. I'm starting to think it's better than BTAS was.

yes of coarse; JLU is soooo good. BTAS was good, but that was when bruce timm and the others were newbs with cartoon-making. but if there was a BTAS right now, it wud be better than JLU.

seriously. the best thing we cud get is like a DTV or something.
my dream wud be a JLU dtv with teen titans characters. main JLU cast w/ nightwing, tempest, n speedy or something. n they cud all do some kinda mission with flash. and itll be a teen titans reunion thing.(robin, speedy, aqualad, n flash were the original)

Blecch. Wanna know one of my favourite things about JLU? No sidekicks! The only person that comes close is Supergirl, and even then they gave her her own storyline instead of just leaching off Superman.

i love sidekicks! sidekicks are so cool. but there arent many sidekicks around anymore. most of the sidekicks are their own person, so its hard to say if u hate sidekicks or young heroes.
