Thanks goes to SupermanHomepage.com on the picture.

::bbbruce:: - Although it looks better, its still that "GOOFY" Gendy Tarkowski (Dexter's La b) style artwork that does not mix well with a serious themed toon like JLU was. That was the main problem I had with the Star Wars toon of the same style art.
I'm sick to death of the "Dexters Lab" art styles. YUCK.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about it either, especially in this case. I think they wanted to maintain some seriousness with it, but still have it more kid-friendly like Teen Titans than JLU. They're teenage superheroes, but they're not as goofy a family as Teen Titans, so it's kind of a borderline between the two.
I'm not so sure I'll like it. ::bbbruce::

teen titans might not have been the most serious show, but it was entertaining. im sure this will be too.
leave the seriousness to batman. even JLU wasnt that serious.

James Tucker, of JLU, is doing this.

As long as it doesn't have those outragous Anime gestures (zig-zag blushing, gigantic yelling mouths, etc.), it might not be so bad. I'll definitely check it out. You can just be certain it won't be as violent or serious as JLU or any of the other more formal Timmverse 'toons.

This will probably be like a show I'll watch the premiere of, and maybe a few more episodes, then stop following it, kind of like I did with Teen Titans. That's just my guess of what'll happen, but I may be suprised.
The characters of the show look pretty good I suppose. I understand that not all the shows have to be as dark and serious as the Batman toons and JLU/JL, but the more serious ones are the ones I go for the most. |

From Comics Continuum:
Warner Bros. has provided The Continuum with a complete first look at the preview image for the upcoming Legion of Super Heroes animated series on Kids' WB!
The image shows Phantom Girl, Brainiac-5, Saturn Girl, Superboy, Lightning Lad, Timber Wolf and Bouncing Boy.
Series producer James Tucker, who was a producer on Justice League Unlimited, explained the look of the show for The Continuum.
"Artistically, the style of the show falls somewhere between Superman: The animated series and Clone Wars," Tucker told The Continuum. "It's definitely not anime-based at all."
Asked about villains on the series, Tucker said, "It's safe to say that the Fatal Five will be showing up several times, as well as a few other well known Legion foes."
Revised version of the pic already releasd, shows Bouncing Boy:

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

the style looks more like teen titans and jlu to me. the body structure is like in teen titans; skinny body frame and over-sized calves. and it has the darkness of JLU.
braniac 5 looks too much like beastboy if u ask me.
