The final episode of TT . . .
*sigh*
Did anyone else catch "Murakami High" and the Napolean Dynamite character?

MY REVIEW:
Returned after fighting the Brotherhood, the Teen Titans see that the city has changed. But as thye fight a monster, Beast Boy seaches for the one person that has reappeared although she wasn't suppose to be: Terra.
The main character to be focused is Beast Boy. After seeing Terra back, he is the one who goes out of his way to try to get her back. Since Beast Boy is the heart of the group, like Flash is in the JL/JLU, its natural for his actions in this.
I don't what to call this episode: something that reminds me of the ending to X-Men: Evolution where we want more. Or a "THE END?" type of storyline.
This had a good mystery: Was Terra back or not? Slade telling Beast Boy that she didn't want to see him again, then the monster. I don't what to call this. If anything, we should've gotten another episode to help us.
I'am sad that its over. Teen Titans was great to see. Now that its over, I don't know what to do. Well it ain't actually over, Teen Titans: Tokyo is coming soon.
So what do I give this? This is going to be my first review with no rating.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.

I found this ending to be, how should I put this, melancholy perhaps?
I hate endings, as I'm sure most of us do, so it's not surprising that we'd have mixed feelings about this episode.
For myslef, I did really like this episode. Being a high school senior, the subject of "changing" is constantly on my mind of late, and this episode really touched home base. The exchange between Terra (who, I believe, was really Terra, but just trying to move on completely) and Beast Boy was heart-breaking, in a way. Haven't we all wanted things not to change? For people to be they way they were again? The ending, itself, was reflectant of this. Terra, in a way, admits the truth, but says that thing must stay different for her to go on. Beast Boy has to leave the prospect of Terra behind to do his duty and help the Titans.
In regards to the Titans, the fact that they don't show the villain being defeated and that Slade is still free tells us that the show doesnt' really end. The Titans will continue to fight in the name of justice, we just won't be there to see it.
I guess the real way to look at it is: We've been given a window into their universe, and now that window has closed. They will go on, we just won't see it.
So bid Teen Titans farewell (until "Trouble in Tokyo," at least). This is one of the few shows where I've actually cared about all of the characters. I had no favourites. I had no "I don't care about them" characters. Each one was human, and each earned my respect.

It didn't connect to season 5 much at all, so its definately an odd choice for a season finale, but for a series finale I'd say it was perfect.
It doesn't give yo any kind of closure, and you're left with more questions and no answers at all, but it still works if you ask me. Kinda like how Freaks and Geeks ended, no closure, but you're still happy with it.
I loved seeing Terra and Slade again, even if neither was really the same. Since both are so popular, I had a feeling we'd see them at least once before the show ended.
I'd say that Titans Together (a great episode as well) was the real season finale, and Things Change was the real series finale. It makes more sense to think of it like that to me.
I'm sad that Teen Titans is over, but I'm sure Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo will do well, and perhaps Teen Titans will live on in DTVs.

^ Then you're in for a big dissapointment, its official that its been cancelled for a while now.
And recently when Cartoon Network unveiled its plans for the upcoming year, they didn't have Teen Titans in their list of renewals.

I was never a big fan of Teen Titans anyway. With all the silly stuff they put in there it just didn't work well with me.
It still had a good run though.

Thanks! Yes, I did change my avatar.
The Teen Titans DTV sounds cool, maybe I'll check it out when it releases.

teen titans had its serious moments.
the majority of it was kid stuff, but the action was really good; so i didnt mind. with shows like teen titans, its all about the action.
the serious episodes were the best though. without a doubt.
