And this is a poll going on right now on what Oldman, Nolan and Bale said in that interview.
Nolan...add Robin!!!!!! http://forums.sup...?t=258975
The top, which is a video in which I just put up, is for them and you too. They're not gonna be replacing Heath as of yet and mostly likely won't. And, as you can see, Gary Oldman wants Riddler in the first link. It may be the villain that they all want too. That the answer may have been planned, and Nolan may have originally wanted Two Face dead. We'll have to see if that changes.
Question time. What do you all think? Should they be dissing/ dumping the characters of Robin, Batgirl and Catwomen and Penguin like that? And mostly, if those of you who see the video should also make your selves vocal on the SuperHeroHype forum poll second link, if you're gonna be vocal here too. Cause I'm sure you want to make yourselves be heard.
There are other polls on the Forum, but I'm sure you'll find it in the Batman sequels area.
If you want to know my thoughts, If Nolan can remake the Joker, then he can remake anyone of these character and make them cool. Anyway, I just want Robin, "Dick Grayson ", introduced and for him to become Nightwing as fast as possible, seeing that they have issues on the idea of Robin. I do think that Nightwing is the coolest next to Batman and I love to see that on the big screen, before it's too late, and to have done it right.
Oh BTW, I'm not doing this to make Nolan do what he doesn't want to do. It's really to tick off those on that forum that aren't giving a good enough reason for their disdain of the character of Richard (Dick) Grayson, as you'll see that in the second link. If anything, if you do like the characters and the Mythos you should vote just to tick those guys off that hate the rest of the mythos of Batman. And I mean everything that made it great.
Please, those of you that have seen this, please vote and make your opinions known there as well as here. I would like to know them.
Discussions in session.

I don't agree with the statement about The Joker. He happens to be one of, if not the best villian Batman has. I think The Riddler would be an excellent choice even though he's already been done. Those of you who didn't agree with Nicholson's interpretation of the Joker can't be satisfied with Carrey's Riddler. Nolan should do the same with him he did with The Joker. I don't think they did enough with Scarecrow. There's a really good villian who was underutilized in Batman Begins. Cillian Murphy did a great job with what he had. Black Mask is a cool villian, though not as well known. I never had a problem with Robin before Batman and Robin. And Batgirl was in that too, unfortunately. I think Nolan could do good things with Robin if he desired. I didn't like him becuase of how cheesy he was and Nolan has shown that cheese doesn't exist in his Gotham. Though it just might be better to leave both out.

i keep on talking about dark victory, lol. but for robin/grayson doubters, please give it a read.
after the events of the dark knight, batman is left alone. gordon also on the other side. he is left with no one, but i think a part of batman wants it that way. he truly believes he can do this alone. if you've read dark victory, batman pushes aside gordon, alfred, catwoman, and anyone else who was willing to help him; he was afraid they would end up like harvey dent. it wasn't until he met dick grayson, a spitting image of himself, that he was able to recognize his foolishness; that despite his longing to be alone, he wasn't. and that he didn't have to be. with harvey, it was a trust issue. batman wasn't willing to have trust in anyone, and that's what led to harvey's downfall...or that's what batman thought anyway.
there's really no way i can convince you that robin's an important character than for you to read dark victory yourself. and well...you'd ahve to read long halloween too to understand dark victory.
as far as bad guys go. i say surprise us. yeah riddler sounds good, all that sounds good. but what if the main bad guy was someone we'd never expect. like holiday and hangman from long halloween and dark victory. sorry for all this long halloween/dark victory crap. i reread them, and i just can't stop thinking about them.
Like I said, most of my opinion is based on his poor film portrayal. It's all I've got. Long Halloween is excellent. I haven't read Dark Victory but I will as soon as I can pick it up.

I'm completely pro-Robin/Catwoman/sidekick. I like the tragic aspect to Batman going it alone, but there's a great story there in terms of Bruce seeing himself in Dick Grayson, and that was the main thing that made Batman Forever an enjoyable flick to me. Not great by a long shot, but my favourite behind the two Nolan films.

It would be nice to have Penguin just be a crime boss. I am writting a fan Lego animated series on YouTube where Penguin is a crime boss with two personalities. I would not like to see any sidekicks or Catwoman.
**SPOILER OF TDK BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to see Harley Quinn and have Arkham explde, making the death of Joker.

Mind lol not at all it's what I wanted you all to do, while discussing this. it just has to be your chose to make though.
The way I see this is I really want to see Nightwing eventually. and I know that any one that is creative enough to reinvent characters like joker and so on should be able to do that for all characters. And most of us that are for dick grayson showing up are just saying right now, that to just have Dick Grayson and Bruce meet and for him to adopt him at the end. dick doesn't have to be robin for the third. there so many ways to do this. man even jeph loeb thought of this as well. http://moviesblog...y-wonder/ As you see there.

I've posted this in another thread, or words to this effect, but in my opinion Robin is still stuck with the stigma attached to the Adam West era of Batman. And Batman & Robin did absolutely nothing to help that. (Which is a shame, as Batman Forever actually set the tone for a more serious and modern portrayal of the character.)
I do think that one day we will see him handled seriously on screen, but I don't think the Nolan and Bale team will do so. What I do think may happen is a third movie by that team and then Nolan and Bale moving on to do other projects. Essentially after TDK Nolan will be on a higher footing in terms of name value with studios than he was before, and Bale himself has stated he enjoys taking on roles that would usually leave an actor typecasted and finding a way to pull them off and then surprise people with his next performance. After their third movie, I can see WB commissioning someone else to take on the franchise but in the same tone, and I think this is when Robin may come into play.

My idea with robin was introduce him in film but allow him to devlop on his own similar in a sense to the current comics.
My idea in reagards to robin was u give him his own tv show. The pilot takes place in Gotham City and give us an orgin It end with Bruce introducing Dick (now this screws up comic book chronolgy) to a friend of his from the league of shadows Jean Paul Valley basically saying "go out in the world and do what I did and once you skills are honed you can come back to gotham"
Then you have a live action show allowing Robin do anything the writers want (an episode in london with a story based on and then there were none with Jean and Robin racing against time to solve the murders before they themselves are killed one set in japan with the emphasis on ninja and stealth) plus this gives writers a chance to ressurect some C list villians(crazy quilt, Killer Moth, Cornilius Strik) and give them a new spin each story showcasing a new Skilll and a new location for Dick to learn Jean Paul Valley as sort of a mentor role (similar to Duncan Mcleod mentoring Richie Ryans in the highlander series)
Like i said just an idea but it gives fans a live action robin (and a darker one at that) but doesn't take away from the Solo Batman adventure series and perhaps characters from both can either be refernced or guest star in each others areas.
