Black Knight that looks great. I have a huge collection that I’m in the process of renovating the displays. Somebody I work with suggested I do a video of it for YouTube or even make a dedicated Web Site about my collection. I don’t know if I ever will, but I loved your video.

Do you live in a toy store?

Looks like a few full or almost full collections to me.

Nice job.

@ FlaBat, thank u!.... also it sound like you have and impresive collection, please do a clip or post picture...

I just started, few months ago to collect because a friend of mine passed me the fever when showed me his private collection... All toys that I collected since I was a boy to my early 20s, some I lost them in a fire, some got stolen when I move to USA, by my ex- stepfather... I always had desire to have a boy or girl when I was young, I misse all those toys that were planned for them embarrassed , ps: my wife understand...

But If I have them till now, there would not be place in the house to put them/it all lol!

Mac I do not lol!, but when people visit my place think its a store of toys, even my wife said so lol joker4

I have BB 2005 action figures complete, minus the exclusive 12" inch to 30" inch figures, Takara, & Ban Dai Batmobile, but since some cost now about $300 I left them for last.

The Batman Tv serie vehicles are near complete & figures are easy to collect but they are too much for me 8 to 12 by 5 serie toys are too much.

So I will stik with BTDK & BB.... I shall sell some reenactment armors to have money for more toys....

Thank u for like my simple clip... I love the soundtrack!BYTBRazz

My son has the 50, 60s/twin headlights, and the "rocket" Hush Batmobiles and the Robin car from Corgi.
I have also painted "eyes" on the HotWheels "1/64" 1989 car. So, he has a "Cars" Batman/Batmobile. I plan to make a "broken" wingless Wingo into a Joker and something (not sure what) into a "Cars" Robin.
I have already painted eyes onto the windshields of numerous HotWheels and Matchbox cars to expand his "Cars" collection for cheaper than the $3-$3.50 per car for the official toyline.

Now, let's get back to Black Knight's "Toy Shoppe" wink

So . . . do you plan to let your kids PLAY with any of the toys or do they get their own (smaller) collection?

Black Knight, there are pictures of my collection all over the site. Here are a few more

2,359 Action Figures 2,015 of them different, 270 Die Cast cars from 1:64 to 1:16 scale, various playsets, role play toys, R/C vehicles and other collectibles all in one room, or at least most of it.

This is about half the room so far. I hope to finish it later this year. The entire collection no longer fits in the room, but I’ll get in as much as I can.

MacWage, no my 12 year old is not allowed to play with any of these, although I do have some R/C vehicles he can play with from time to time.

MacWage or Mac, so u do custom too? great! I will post some ideas that I have in mind for my display, well isnpiration from others to said so.

Mac my son have some extras from my collection, something that I have twice.. The only thing that I have let him play with is the 1:6 Tumbler from Tyco ,as u saw in the clip, but he has his own toys heehe!!! yes

PS: how long took u to collect your corgis? sorry for ask u all the same question, but I know to some, take a life time & others are luckier...

I just bought my first house, last year, that was the same time that I started to collect, but my previous collection were lost as I stated before..
Well it will take a long time to have something nice as u all guys have.. I will post a video of my project in mind soon.

The recent Corgis were all bought new as they came out a few years ago. I got my 3 66 Corgi cars this past winter. All three need work. One isn't TOO bad, but the others are rough.
If you look, a number of the cars in the pictures are simple customs, mostly paint.
The 2 second version BTAS cars in THIS shot:

are the toothbrush and the cake topper simply given satin spray can repaints. I eventually need to add gloss windshields and the headlights and taillights, but as they look "OK" I am not in a huge hurry.

The three in the front of THIS pict:

A Bburago Prima 1/43 (kit when Walmart carried them) that needs the front painted black for a "Bat Mask" (tonight's project?), a modified Ferrari F50 (the third I made of that car, 1 of which is a "pull back" that my son now owns), and a "nail polish remover" logo stripped Mazda RX-8 from the $4 "street racer" cars sold in retail.

Here is the 1/18 Bburago Prima custom:

The "exhausts" are old 1/72 F-16 engine exhausts from their Thunderbird set (Monogram as I recall).
I had a HUGE model airplane collection as a kid, but my parents tossed them in a huge box when I went to college, tossed some heavy crap on top, and then had a toilet leak directly above the box, basically ruining the models. So, I salvaged many parts and tossed most of them. As a result, I have a huge number of jet exhausts (saved to make Batmobiles and Batplanes).

My collection has been off and on for 20 years (picked up around the 1989 film, with a FEW pieces from 30 years ago (when I was a little booger).

For most of the time, I was looking for and creating stuff as it simply wasn't available. After the Corgi stuff came out, I abandoned and "trashed" my crappier tries. The Corgis looked better.

In that are also the 1990s "70s" light blue Hallmark ornament and the 1990s Hallmark SuperBat car (both bought when they were new).

I also have a HUGE navy Ferrari-based car that has seats in 1/43 scale (was an off-the-shelf pullback toy car). It looks like some of the 60s era toys and "Batmobile rip-offs" during the ear of the 60s Batmania.

I am planning a few Lambo-based mods, using a Countach-base (80s-style), 2 opening-door ones (a Countach and a Mucia. found at Fred's for $3/each), and one made to somewhat resemble the one in "The Batman" (modified to my own taste and likes).

I also have grabbed a number of Speed Racer cars to modify. One will be a simple repaint of the Mach 5 and one of Racer X's car and the rest will have body mods.
I'm thinking of chopping a nose to make a perpendicular Bat-Mask . . .
Jet engine . . .
????

I have WAY more cars to mod than will EVER get reworked.

Remember:
Nail polish remover (to remove tempo graphics) and a Dremel are your friend.
(The first F50 mod was dremeling out the horizontal of the rear wing and making it into fins. THAT is still my favorite modified car. I wish I had more die-cast ones. They are now hard to find cheap.)
Anyone have a 1/18 one?

Inzo. Wow I like that room. I have a lot of those, and I’ve seen a lot of them too. What is the Batman bust? It’s the one on the top shelf, right side near the 3 Batmobiles box you did. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. One day you will need to maximize your floor space the way I did.

Around the time Batman Begins came
out, my wife found that Batman
kiddy nite-light at Wal-Mart for me...

She came home excited has hell
that day...

You know what she tells me???

I have finally found something Batman
that you did'nt even know was made...

Boy was she right...

Your right about maximizing room space...

I lose footage on the corners and the height
of the book shelfs could be taller...

My first collection was all mint carded
and I would tac the action figures on the
walls and ceiling...

This looked really cool...rolleyes

Do you take pictures of your collection
everytime it gets a new addition???

I do take pictures for the archives of
my cave...rolleyes

rolleyes

This was the mess I had back when I keep
the figures in their cards...

I lived in Chicago at the time and had
all my stuff in one room in the attic...yes

This was part of the what I had sold at
the time...

Not all of it, but later I had sold other items
0f my collection that were from the
Warner Bros. Studio Stores...

Next time, I'll put up the other half
of what I had...sad

Till next time...rolleyes

Inzo. Yes I have a whole history of pictures of my collection. I used to use film and only took pictures a few times a year after major additions. Now, with digital I can take as many as I like.
