I had already voiced my opinion on Jolie herself; and I didn't want to say anything about how she fits the Catwoman role, because (Unfortunatly for me and my Theron obsession) she fits the role quite well.

uhh no.first she probably wouldnt be a teen in the movies,look at B&R(yes i know it was a very bad movie)but ivy was no student,plus college students dont have t olook like kids,fisher just isnt pretty and your saying you thing catwoman looks like a '50 yr old heroin addict?' im o charlize looks like an older version of scarlett which is good but i like ricci for the role,plus shes interested in the role which is good

I say Jolie fits the role because her main appeal seems to be her elegence; this is good for Catwoman as she is elegent like a cat... However it's a shot in the foot for Ivy (IMO at least) as Ivy is about a sort of a young sexiness, rather than a mature elegence.
And Catwoman did look like a 50-year old chain smoker in Dark Knight Returns, so that's close to heroin addict.
Speaking of casting, ever note that stars of recent comic movies have been in movies with other stars of comic book movies?
Christian Bale (Batman) was in American Psycho with Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin)
Anna Paquin (Rogue) was in Hurlyburly with Kevin Spacey (Lex Luthor)
Tobey Maguire(Spider-man) was in The Cider House Rules with Michael Caine(Alfred Pennyworth)
The list goes on for a while. But I've always thought that was kind of funny.

DKR was the future,bruce was 50 we wouldnt be going by that story,i love the story but c'mon its frank miller that dude has a weird imagination
i still like jolie better for ivy she reminds me of the hush ivy,or eva green would be good too,the only people i want to see as catwoman are ricci,johansson or ali larter.but raz,i do have to agree with you in a way about jolie looking like a heroin addict,i love her,shes beautiful but some pictures of her are just scary

since you want a collage student i would cast eva green
but i would rather see pamela working for like some sort of pharmasutical company or something and here is a pic that made me want ricci for catwoman,not only can she act,this pic alone says she can be sleek,sexy and everything that catwoman is or just selina plus shes closer to bales age
and somethings i did on paint(:p)

As far as age goes, my choice of Theron is perfect, she's going to be 32 in August and Bale's going to be 33 on Janury 30. As for Ricci, she's 27 in February.
Now unfortunatly we can't have a "Which actress is better" debate because our images of the character are differant. My image;
She has a tall elegent body with the best tush imaginable.
She has Green eyes and short Black hair.
She has a classy beautiful face that's sort of reminiscent of classic movie stars
She is elegent and sexy at the same time I.E. She's more likely to wear a little black dress than a thong.
Theron fits most of these characteristics. She has Green eyes, a tall elegent body with just about the best butt ever (thanks to ballet and pilates), her face has that classic beauty, and she can definitly act the "Ellegent yet sexy" thing. She just needs to dye her hair and badda-bing, we have Catwoman.

Well, I like short hair. And the longer the hair, the more time it takes to get the mask on, and the more real world credibility we lose; which is bad as Nolan is going after a "Batman in the real world" concept.
Now I'm not talking ultra short, just down to the chin; kind of like the Ricci manip you posted:
Like that, but she ties it back to put on the mask.
There is a specific hair style I'm thinking of, I'll try to find a pic of it.

The thing about my image of Catwoman is that she's got to have a classic beauty while still having a sexy edge, because other wise Batman won't have a physical attraction to her; this guy is an obsessive who lets few into his life, and while he meets total babes on a daily basis he's had only about six major girlfriends in his 70+ years of existance in comic books, if regular babes can't attract him, then whoever does has to be all that and a bag of chips.
I can guess why you can't picture Theron as Kyle, maybe because you've not seen Theron play any "Devil may care" roles. But she has, and she does it well. IMO, she could pull Selina off with her eyes closed, particularly with Nolan giving direction and Bale to play off of.

i have seen some,i can sorta see her pulling it off,not fully probably cuz i want her for emma and i dont really like actors being in a comic book movie in a short time span(alba and marsden are exeptions cuz i dont read sin city and richard,isnt a real character.....i think)i want ricci cuz i can see her pulling it off,shes got the acting chops,she looks good in leather and i find her hot(thats just me)plus she wants the role which doesnt hurt either
