I had a hard time voting for some of them. There were some really hard choices. The majority were for The Dark Knight but there were some categories where I had hard time deciding.

Not hard.. the only hard thing was when there was more then one TDK choice.
I do have a feeling TDK will win alot of awards, not just at the Spike awards...

I sounded retarded in my last post, counting the number of times I said "it was hard"
Some of the more difficult choices for me were
Best TV show
Best Actor in Fantasy
Best supporting performance
Most memorable mutilation
Holy $&*! scene of the year
Best line
There were a lot of great nominees but the majority of my votes were for The Dark Knight.
The only thing stopping you from success is doubt. |

Holy $&*! scene of the year was kinda retarded... The Tumbler/Batpod chase scene and the big-rig flip were good choices; but they're the same f-ing scene!!! Why do we have to choose between them when they're the same scene? Isn't that like the "Best Movie" award nominations being Iron Man, Hulk, The Dark Knight, and the last 30 seconds of The Dark Knight?

Totally agree... don't get me wrong, Heath Ledger personified the Joker for me and no one will ever come close, but I thought Ekhart was also amazing as Harvey Dent and even better as Two-Face… shame he didn’t win anything. Very strong actor…

The only award he was up for was best villian, and there was no way he was beating Heath on that.
Anyway, anyone watch the awards? I was really moved when Gary Oldman presented Heath's awards and thanked all the fans who are keeping the memory of Heath Ledger alive.

Eckhart definitly should recieve more credit. It's a shame he's so underappreciated. I hope he gets more recognition for his role, because he was amazing as both Harvey Dent and Two-Face, and he totally deserves recognition. That's why I was so happy for Gary Oldman for his win. Oldman played the role of Gordon like no one else could.

I think Heath just kinda overshadowed everyone, even Christian Bale. The whole great cast was just great though. |

That picture above has such a simple awesomeness to it. I really hope it gets nominated, it deserves it. The Oscars can be so lame sometimes though. |

So the Dark Knight comes out on DVD tomorrow. Any one made a choice as to what extra stuff (if any) they are going to get with it?
I am trying to decide between the little bust looking thing at http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9137383&st=dark+knight&lp=7&type=product&cp=1&id=1934162, the mask packaging and digital copy at Target, or the book and coin replica at Walmart.
Anyone seen any information on these? Or, know of a place that has better extras.

Right that's me I'm off to watch...

I can't decide which version to get. I'm considering the Wal-Mart comic/coin pack, but I kind of want the 2 Disc Special Edition. But then again, I'm not even big on special features anymore. Also, I'm not going to be able to go to the large town until Wednesday, but I have a CVS here in town about 1 or 2 miles away, so I could pick that up anything I want just about, but I doubt they'll have anything besides the single disc. Ahh! What to do...what to do. |
