assuming there will be one more movie, i'd expect a name along the lines of...
"The Dark Detective" maybe? nolan said he didnt want "batman-insert verb here"...so what else is left? or maybe "The Dark Knight" will be the last movie, who knows...i mean what else of batman do you need after u have batman beating the crap out of joker?

I don't want them to waste one of the greatest resivours of villains from any comic book series, by just using one villain in two movies. Unless The Joker is a side villain in the Dark Knight, like Scarecrow in Begins, I only want him to have a cameo in " Begins 3: Dark Knight 2".
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

I can't wait to see it finally another dark Joker in film/tv there hasn't been one since Mark Hamill and Jack Nicholson. The Joker in The Batman is campy and so is the crappy 60's show. Hopeful this Joker is like The Killing Joke Joker and has a Mark Hamill Joker voice and this Joker is more sadistic.

Good point. But a third movie all depends on one thing: money. If The Dark Knight is successful, and all regular cast members are willing, it's a sure thing we'll get a third film.
The title didn't strike me as excellent at first, but I'm really loving it now. Not having "Batman" in the title is brilliant. And yes, it's probably not a working title, we were simply speculating.

The title rocks, I'm just not sure about Heath Ledger as The Joker . I don't think he a good choice for the role, However Nolan has earned my respect & Trust based on "BATMAN BEGINS" . So even thought I don't think Ledger is right for the role, I still trust nolan .
So I'm just going to wait and see .
