This time I've got solid proof its a scalloped cape! Select action figures and dolls from the bytb toolbar. Select the dark knight action figures. Then select series 1. look at the pics . One has batman holding a turret and he is wearing the new costume. It is definitely scalloped! |

Well, that one is scalloped only very slightly, but you're forgeting one thing. This one isn't:

We can't say one is more accurate than the other because we've not seen th full cape in press photos, all we've got are two action figures so we have no proof.
However, I'd say by looking at that figure, he is likely to have a very lightly scalloped cape. But still there is no real proof yet.

Lets just be glad that Joel Schumacher
did not put a night glow to the suit...
Remember the nipples???
Oh the pain of that suit and the
nightmares it gave me for a very, very, very
long time...
I can live with this suit...

Now the TDK suit was good change because he needs the extra mobility so fight better and especially to can ride the Bat-pod. But from here on I say "If it ain't broke don't fix it" Yeah, I agree. I almost expected some slight changes, maybe to make it better reflect the comic book style, but I hardly considered a total redesign. I liked that the Begins suit had the look of armor but remained very simplistic. With TDK, it's increasing the armor's complexity and becoming a bit too bulky for my taste. It almost would've been cool if they maintained a sort of armor-and-leather look and added some dark, dull brown for the greater effect of a bat-like appearance.

i didn't care much for the costume in batman begins much either so im not really surprised, but having a flat cape is pretty lame, but im sure it wont hurt the film too much.

The new Batman suit is great, I really liked the change from the Batman Begins suit, to the new The Dark Knight suit, it's more articulate so he can move better and fight better, I think they really went into detail with this suit. But about the cape, there is no clear shot in the film that shows if it scalloped or not, but I do think the change of suits was for the better. |
