I agree. My first thought was that maybe it comes off of or out of the Tumbler Batmobile like the Bat Missile of Batman Returns.
I was thinking that maybe it will be built from the remains of the Tumbler.

Rumor was, that it would in fact come from the Tumbler. But, then I guess it was confirmed that it was it's own seperate vehicle.

I wasn't too crazy about the design at first, namely those big ol' tires. But considering my before and after perceptions of the Tumbler, I'll reserve any strong opinions 'till I see this Batpod in action. As for the name, like Razhwurz said (using many questionably placed semicolons I'm sure ) it's not anything to fret over. They never actually called anything "Bat__" in the last film, as far I as remember. So let's just try and set that aside for now.

I apologize for nothing. Heheh. No need to, friend. I just find it kinda funny is all.
I saw the Today Show segment today. It was kinda neat but corny at the same time. I just can't help but feel that way when news people are messing around with a Batman gadget. Iit was kinda neat that Al Roker mentioned Lucious Fox, but it may've just been on his card.

Here are some great pictures of someone on the Batpod at the NY Licensing Show. They give you a better view of how he will ride this thing (I didn't notice it had knee rests.)

that toy statue thing is cool. i just hope the grey isnt actually that light. but i think it's just the flash of the camera that made it look that way.
and the batpod looks comfortable, lol. i bet it would feel so cool to ride that thing.

I hope the costume is darker then that. Did anyone else think of Metal Gear Solid when they saw the pic? |

It's a prototype, they use bright coloured plastic to reveal the details, it will look better when the give it a final paint job.

Although its unofficial, its been reported that Cillian Murphy is returning as the Scarecrow. Onlookers took pictures of Cillian Murphy in the Scarecrow mask.

The first picture suddenly stopped working so I think the other pics should work. |

Sounds to me like he's saying he'd do it after Nolan's films are done... "who knows where I might end up?"

According to Superhero Hype The teaser for TDK will be shown with the Simpsons movie.
Personally, I think this is dumb. I know alot of people like the simpsons, but there should have been one with either Transformers or Harry Potter.. but, whatever, at least we're getting one!

I heard that it the trailer was supposed to be done with Harry Potter, but I guess they decided to do it with The Simpsons. However, I have to agree, they should have done it with either Transformers or Harry Potter; a movie that a lot of people will see. |

Harry Potter was just speculation. People just thought the teaser would be in front of Harry Potter because it was a highly anticipated film in the right time frame that was made by WB.
As for the Simpsons... WTF?! Why would they put it front of a comedy movie that people are only moderatly interested in?

obviously because simpsons will be a better movie than harry potter.
i think it would have been best with transformers though. EVERYONE watched transformers. unless they were harry potter fans. same goes with harry potter; only transformers fans wouldnt go see it.

Why wouldn't Transformers fans not watch Harry Potter or vice-versa? I saw the two movies and I liked them both. |
