I don't know, maybe. I think we'll see him kinda throughout the movie, he just won't be there the whole way. I think this movie will set up his split personality. Then in the next movie, or at the end of this one, he'll get burned, and complete the two-face.

WARNING: Potetnial spoilers!
To answer yenshen's question. No. Eckhart specifically stated that Two-face is in this movie; and insiders have already told Jett on BOF that the film will end like the first one; it'll leave room for a sequal, but it won't end on a cliff-hanger (like Dent getting scarred)

i really hope that, if this movie turns out to be the 'according to hoyle' batman movie, that parents go'WTF??' again, and then we get stuck with Uwe Boll...ugh... ...lol...so...my message to Nolan and WB:
MAKE IT DARK!!!! MAKE IT SCARY!!!! DON'T LISTEN TO WHINY PARENTS!!!! FORGET THEY EXIST!!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!

no. then we'll get batman & robin all over again. the only reason why WB went for a more campy batman is cuz the parents were complaining that batman returns was too dark. i say make it family friendly. batman begins had enough darkness to make it feel like batman without making it too much for kids.

Actually, they're ignoring the parents in this one. For one obvious reason, It's not a kid's movie.
And BTW, TDK will be a lot darked than Begins.
And yes, parents might complain, but that brings me back to the above point, it's not a kid's movie. Anything they say will be ignored, because they're not the target audience.

Yes, it needs to be dark, really dark, but still, BAtman should'nt kill like Burtons version. If you want family frendly, go watch superman, and I mean that because superman is dead to me now because of the last movie.

im trying very hard to give superman some credit and to get into him again, but its not looking good...but that one song about superman makes me want to forgive superman...o, and if after the next movie they do the same thing like they did the last series, then batman will be dead to me, like superman, then ill be out of heroes...except wolverine and the punisher...

i dont necessarily "want" family friendly, but i DONT want another batman & robin. that's all i'm saying. i'd much rather have family friendly good movies than a super dark batman, and a super light batman. i'd rather have it in the middle.
see i dont want a tim burton/frank miller batman where he stabs people with batarangs, uses shotguns, and cuts robin's head off just to see if he dies or not...yeah, that's not batman. and i also dont want a smiling batman with rubber nipples running around, and some times using ice skates.
i'm all for the dark knight being a dark movie...i mean c'mon, the DARK knight. but i dont want batman to be some kind of freak. if the movie is in fact darker, i just hope it's the joker that makes it darker, not batman.

oh and i've never liked superman. but the new dtv is looking REALLY good. i mean batman-good. he's looking to be much more...i dont know. not superman-like.

The last thing I need to hear is that a Batman more be more "family-friendly" like they did with the Schumacher films. I think Warner Bros. learned their lesson from the last time they tried that. I also believe, as Phil mentioned, that they also learned their lesson from Tim Burton's movies and will not take the franchise to the other extreme. |

Actually, Frank miller is who we need for Batman, he wrote year one, and TDKR which he only uses a gun once in the book, and he dosent kill anyone. but its the perfewxt tone for the movie we have coming up.

I think Jeph Loeb got Batman right. It was the right amount of dark, brooding Batman without being too much of an a*hole. |

i never want to see a family friendly batman, but i would like frank miller to make a batman movie...because...hes frank miller. and hes doing the spirit, so, yea, he might be able to pull it off

Footage from the Dark Knight was shown at Wizard World. Here is what the footage had:
- The footage started with a silhouette of a dark figure in front of one of Batman’s armored vehicles before quickly cutting to Bruce Wayne and Alfred delivering the brief lines heard in the “Dark Knight” teaser trailer.
- “Some people just want to watch the world burn,” advises Alfred before the camera jumps to Batman in action on the Batpod, the new iteration of his motorcycle.
- The action built up as the Joker was seen in full for the first time with a mess of white face, smeared red lipstick and sweaty, straggly green hair. Apparently, the clown prince of crime gets arrested at one point in the film, as the montage presented Jim Gordon (complete in SWAT gear) at the Joker’s booking, saying, "no prints, no ID, custom clothes, no tags.” The clown smiles with what appears to be blood over his face from the inside of an interrogation room.
- Checking back in with Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy has a brief scene with Eckhart’s Harvey Dent where he says “Rachel’s told me everything about you.” “I truly hope not,” responds Wayne.
- The footage sped up at that point into an intense montage of action, featuring the following clips:
The new batsuit rising up from a trap door in the ground and held in a chain metal case.
Rachel Dawes (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal) close to an unidentified man either kissing him or being threatened by him as the camera rotates around them.
The Joker and Batman battling in close quarters (possibly a hospital room). Batman throws Joker over a table and crashing into the ground while the clown smiles at him. It should be noted that the Joker was done up in his signature purple suit.
Plenty of big, bold Batmobile action including a shot where the tank-like car drives through a wall of flame. In fact, flames were pretty much everywhere in the footage as it appears Joker does actually make the world burn.
There is also a shot of a somewhat grim-faced Joker walking across a city street mercilessly firing a machine gun as well as a television close-up of the Joker laughing hysterically.
- Two major additions to the speculation that Two Face will appear in the film came in the form of a single shot of a spinning 50 cent piece and the final image: after the action montage has slowed down, the camera cuts to a bartender looking at Harvey Dent, whose only onscreen presence is his left shoulder and a bit of a reddish-purple scarred neck. “Dent! I thought you were dead!” the man gasps, to which Harvey replies, “Half.”

Yeah... it sounds like they could make a good trailer with what they have now. At the very least something like Begins' teaser.
But they're increasing hype by teasing us... If you see footage, it's awesome. But what really gets the masses excited is when they know footage is out there, but they can't see it.
Again, great marketing by WB.
