Oh. Either way, I think there being TWO female villains would cause a lot of arguments and Harley = Joker's sister? But they are a couple! I mean, I kind of like the idea. But they would have to be a couple, that would make the brother/sister thing really twisted.

I think it would be great to have our first Superhero movie to only have female villains. But I don't think we need a movie where the villains are basically rehashes of old villains. I mean without Ras, Talia would be the leader of the league of shadows. And without Joker, Harley is a clown themed psychopath who's tourmenting Batman. Sounds a little too redundant to me.

I would change everything. Seriously: Miley Cyrus? Eddie Murphy? That's not even a rumor, it's just a lie.
Chris Nolan has shown us what he can do and now it's all useless to the people who believe the rumors because IGN thinks for SOME reason, Chris has changed into Joel S.

I think you guys are forgetting that none of these rumours are from IGN. IGN's just compiling a list of all the rumours that have sprouted throughout the web and are giving their opinion about them.

We were talking about plot ideas in the casting thread, so I decided to move some of that over her if that's ok.
My ideas for Batman 7/3.
- After Rachel's death, Bruce will have become more of a recluse. He becomes a much more serious character (no longer joking with Alfred or Lucious) and very rarely hits the town in his "plaboy" persona anymore. He has also become more serious and violent as Batman (not killing, but more acts along the lines of breaking Maroni's legs) Much of the plot would revolve around Alfred trying to save Bruce from being consumed entirely by the Batman persona.
- Catwoman would be introduced as a love interest. She would be more of a Robin Hood type theif, stealing from te rich and giving the benefits to charities. She eventually has an encounter with Batman, and she becomes enamoured with him and decides to become a vigilante. However, she teeters on crossing the line and Batman has to decide whether she is an ally or not.
- As Selina, she begins to date Bruce (who is dating her only for public image). At first targeting him as a potential vicitm, but she begins to see through his playboy facade. Bruce also sees a deeper character in Selina than the rich socialite. But because of Rachel's death he is too afraid to let anyone in, so he pushes her away.
- It would be revealed that at the end TDK, Harvey Dent's death was faked to hide his transformation from the public. In reality, he has been locked away in Arkham under the pseudonym. After the events of TDK he has developed a spit in his psyche, causing a struggle of egos paralleling Bruce's. He would serve as a supporting character until the climax of the film when a plot of an unknown criminal masermind causes his escape and revelation to the public. At which point he would become the leader of Gotham's under world, though actually being a puppet to the mastermind's machinations. Batman's eventual defeat of Two-face will cause a restoration of hope in Gotham's citizens.
- As if we don't know already, the criminal mastermind is the Riddler. Who would at first only serve a minor part as a criminal robbing banks in theatrical style. As the movie progresses he sets into motion a chain of events that makes him the leader of Gotham's underworld.
- Killer Croc and Poison Ivy would serve as Riddler's lackies who break Two-face out of Arkham.

@Raz - Those are the best ideas I've heard for the next one. I thought Selina should be in it, but not much of a big deal as many wanted her to be. Not really a cameo, but something that you would still notice. Maybe this could be as she becomes Catwoman? She could get the suit near the last 20 minutes of the movie.

I forgot to specifiy that Ivy would be done like in her first BTAS appearance, not a plant/woman hybrid but instead a chemist who uses chemicals to either seduce or kill her victims. And Croc would be more like in the Joker graphic novel, depicted simply as a man with a scaly skin condition who may be a cannibal.
And I think we need more supporting "freak" villains. Think about it, in TDK we had Maroni, Gambol, the Chechen, Grumpy and Scarecrow all as supporting villains. Would it really be that much different if we took the minor roles and filled them out with Ivy, Croc and maybe some others? Their roles would be no bigger than Scarecrow in TDK.
I think the next movie needs to display the change Joker has made to Gotham. In TDK Joker was the lone freak in Gotham. Now that Joker has orchostrated the deaths of all three major crime lords there should be a change of hands. There should be at least three minor freaks. No origins, just colorful villains to display the change in Gotham. The great thing about Croc and Ivy is they don't need to much explanation. Just a bit of dialogue discribing Croc's condition and Ivy's background in botany.
