My ideal casting for BATMAN III would be the following:

Rosalyn Sanchez-Det. Montoya
Kelsey Grammer-Editor of Gotham Gazette William(Bill) Finger
Martin Sheen-Police Commissioner Robert(Bob) Kane
PLOT:
Even though Batman has been gone about two years, Alfred and Lucius have been in contact with him. Alfred notifies Bruce that someone is copying the Joker's crimes and that he should come home and look into it; That someone is Harley Quinn who happens to be the Joker's foster sister, who is in town to exact revenge on Batman for her foster brother.
After Bruce comes back into town, The new police commissioner Robert Kane has Lt. Gordon begin a task force to catch Batman who is now considered a vigilante. He puts Detectives Bullock and Montoya in charge of the task force; Bullock thinks Batman is guilty, Montoya does not.
Also coming into town is a reporter by the name of Vickie Vale who wants to write about the Batman because she wants a job on a big city newspaper, and she thinks this will get her a high paying job with the Gotham Gazette, she tells her new boss William Finger that she can get a story about Batman and he tells her if she does she's hired.
Revenge is also what Talia Al Ghul wants but she wants Batman's death for her revenge for killing her father Ra's Al Ghul, so she comes into town with her bodyguard Bane. Bane has the physique of a body builder however he wears a mask because his face was severely burned in a house fire that killed his parents. Bane's father worked for Ra's and out of duty Ra's took him in.
Talia's cover for coming into Gotham is as the president of a company she began with her father's money; she is there to ask Bruce if he wishes a joint venture between her company and Wayne Enterprises. The two immediately hit it off and begin romantic affair, Harley pines for Bruce from afar.
Meanwhile Harley continues her reign of terror and at the climax of the movie holds Commissioner Kane, Editor Finger, Gordon, Bullock and Montoya and Vickie Vale hostage in the Gotham Gazette building basement and threatens to have the building imploded and kill all of the hostages if Batman doesn't take the place of the hostages.
Batman agrees to the terms and all the hostages are freed; however Talia and Bane follow him and when he unmasks himself both women are shocked beyond belief. Harley becomes angrier because of the deception and aims a gun at Batman/Bruce, however as Harley pulls the trigger Talia runs into Batman/Bruce's arms and the bullet meant for him hits Talia and kills her instantly.
Bane and Harley are taken to Arkham Asylum, Vickie gets the job at the Gotham Gazette, Gordon is promoted to Captain, Batman is a hero once more while Bruce and Vickie continue their romance.

I don't really like when characters are that massively different than the comic books. I understand taking out fantasy elements to make them more realistic (Like Ras no longer being immortal or Joker not being perma-white). But to make Harley Joker's foster sister and the whole scarred face thing for Bane, it's a little too different for me.
That being said, I think Talia and Bane are awesome choices for villains. But I think instead of Harley, Talia and Bane, it should just be Talia and Bane as the villains. And I don't think Bane needs so much back story, Talia has that covered with the whole daughter of Ras Al Ghul thing.
One question. Why is Gordon demoted to Lieutenant? In TDK he became Commissioner after Loeb's death.

Raz, thanks for the correction, I must've been out of the theater at that time (if you get my meaning). As for Bane, I think you need some sort of explanation as to why he wears the mask and Matt as for him being smart, taking the drug that bulks him up causes brain damage.

You know, these are some really good ideas. But the next villains need to make sense.
Now, in TDK, Lucius Fox told Bruce that his new suite could withstand anything including CATS.
Whether that or not was a hint that Catwoman would be in the next movie or it was just a coincidence. I have no clue. I just thought so when I was watching TDK in the theaters.
At this time, I don't think so.
I do however think Talia being a villain would be interesting. And she would have a good reason for being in the movie.
However, if they can't decide on what to do for the 3rd movie....
I'm always available to do a romance film with the Penguin. Heh-heh

Erin this falls into place for my plot (with a change or two): Batman has been gone for 2 yrs, another costumed person has taken over protecting the people of Gotham; people say this person is woman that looks like a cat. (Have Catwoman be like she was in that one series of books where she was on the right side of the law sort of) Talia comes to town in order to try and take Wayne Enterprises away from Bruce since he has been gone so long he could be considered dead, Talia is doing this as a way of getting Bruce back for the death of her father.
Selina Kyle is in town for merger talks with her company and Wayne Enterprises.
Bane is still Talia's bodyguard.

I've made up my mind for the next one for villains...
Riddler (a realistic/classy version, stalkerish in ways), Black Mask (ideal image - http://arashdeep....s-97743319), and Oswald Cobblepot (not a total villain, more of a mobster)
Btw, I think I found the most realistic B3 posters -
@Red-Blue: Clive Owen as Black Mask-Good, Your choices for The Riddler are good it just depends on how the producers want the character to look; I can see Johnny Depp as the Riddler similar to that of Jim Carrey's (paying homage to Frank Gorshin) only alot meaner. Alex O'Laughlin or Mathew Gubler I can see if they are going to use the Riddler from The Batman animated show, as for Penguin I can't really see Captain Jim Brass from CSI playing the part but Paul Giamatti from Gentleman Jim and The Illusionist I can.

Na. Everybody wants Paul Giamatti to play somebody in Batman 3, and I can never see why. Btw, the Riddler for B3 would be the creepy fan done version you might find on Google or DeviantArt.
What do you guys think about Rachel McAdams or AJ Cook as Vicki Vale?

You know what they should do? Make another GOTHAM KNIGHT Animated movie thing like they did between Begins and TDK.

This is just my opinion but I don't want another "Rachel Dawes" kind of woman in anymore Batman movies. I don't know why, maybe because every woman who ends up falling in love with Bruce or something is a:
SELF CENTERED, ANNOYING, WHINNY, LOOK AT ME, person.
I just want to bang my head against the wall every time some idiot gets annoyed because Bruce is too busy being Batman and cancels their date or whatever and she, whoever she is, gets all up in his face about it.
So, Vickie Vale, Rachel Dawes, those kinds of women, I just want to throw off a cliff. It's alright because I feel the same way towards the women in the Marvel Universe too.
Catwoman, Barbara Gordon, Stephanie Brown, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn are the only female characters I'm not annoyed by.
And I'm only sticking up for Bruce Wayne because he puts up with a lot of crap while trying to have a normal life but at the same time keep his two lives separate.
And I'm wondering for Batman 3 if Batman will work secretly with Commissioner Gordon, like where he shows up for a minute and then leaves before the rest of the police force showed up, kinda thing.
I'm actually hoping the Riddler is one of the villains for Batman 3. I hope they pic the version of him wearing the bowler hat.

I know it's kind of obvious, but how about Daniel Day-Lewis as the Riddler?
He certainly looks the part. He's a great actor. And the trailers for his most recent movie certainly show he can do eccentric personalities.
As for women, I don't think they should introduce another love interest just yet. It would seriously weaken the integrity of his character if Batman starded banging somebody right after Rachel died...

@Razhwurz - I never thought about that with Rachel. It seemed like a no-brainer that now that she's gone, Vicki has to come along. I see how much better it would be without her now. She should still be involved later in the film though and then they become even "better friends" in B4. SO... Here's the things most of us agree on so far...
-Riddler for a villain.
-Batman is being chased by GPD.
-Gotham hates Batman.
-No girlfriend for Bruce.

I completely. We NEED Leslie. Though I think Sigourney is still a little too young looking for the role. How about Helen Mirren?

Other thoughts for Leslie could be Judi Densch (maybe not she's too recognized for 007 movie), and stretching maybe Karen Grassle or Meredith Baxter (Little House and Family Ties) but they might be able to pull it off.
As for Catwoman, I think what would be cool is to shock Batman and have Catwoman look like Rachel Dawes (maybe Christina Ricci or Drew Barrymore)
