i could care less about the lenses i think some things work beter in comics and cartoons then on film. ifits used 2much then they might make it a bad thing to have but if he uses them in like 2-3 scenes then it should be ok. and i really hope he dosent start refering 2 everything as bat-...

no, i mean i wanna see how they will do it. the cowl clearly shows that there's no lenses anywhere. i'm wondering if he wears another mask, or maybe they're special contact lenses or something. i just wanna know how they'll pull it off.

I think I heard something about the article saying they retract, like in Forever.

I think they'll slide out of the cowl...

I know it is not realistic... But when people think about Nolan's realistic world they go way to far. He goes for plausibilty, not possibilty. Just look at the cape, or the bat sonar, or the microwave emitter, or the grapple gun, or the survival suit.

IMAX exlusive, There's the problem. You see, the screen is massive. So massive that I doubt it's possible to record it on a camcorder. So if it does end up on youtube we're mostly going to see fleeting glimpses of Joker's crotch and shoulder and nose because there's no way the dude recording it will be able to keep up with everything.

Yes, he does. In the WW footage they showed his neck from behind with half of it scarred. Someone in the scene says "Dent, I though you were dead", to which Dent replies replies "Half"...

Also in an interview with Nolan, he was asked if the scaring scene was done in IMAX, and he gave a very nonchalant acknowledgment to filming it.

A new Dark Knight synopsis released by WB

Christian Bale once again embodies the man behind the mask in "The Dark Knight." The film reunites Bale with director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local crime...until a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos across Gotham City. To stop this devious new menace--Batman's most personal and vicious enemy yet--he will have to use every high-tech weapon in his arsenal and confront everything he believes.

Also tomorrow is the release of I Am Legend; along with the IMAX preview, and hopefully, a conventional theatrical trailer.
