Not only is the fact that Mary-Kate was called first ridiculous, but also that her response to Heath being unconscious and cold is to send bodyguards. Um, no, you tell them to call 911 immediately.
And Chris Nolan's tribute to Heath got me a little teary eyed. |

The tests should be done this weekend, other than that no.
Though someone told me that they saw a police report on T.V. that said all the pills for his prescriptions were still in the bottles (I.E. he didn't take any of them). I'm looking into that one.

Just making sure (that was what I thought be meant).
Also, Heath was working on a Terry Giliam movie when he died.
So, he was WELL out of the Joker character and probably had whatever Terry was doing on his mind.
I won't speculate on cause of death, but -accidental- drug (medical) interaction is looking more and more likely. Pneumonia and sleeping medicines OFTEN interact (mother-in-law is a geriatric -all over 40- nurse-practitioner).

That's the report I want to hear...ACCIDENTAL medical combination in order to get better. I don't want to think he tried to commit suicide.
I can't believe its been a week already. |

Judging from the Police reports it was an accident. In fact, if you actually look at his character, his family and the evidence there's no realy way to look at it as a suicide IMO. The suicide/drug addict s%$# is from the news and gossip magazines trying to make a quick buck.
Speaking of which, this is a great speach from the Soup, a show about making fun off stupid and/or crazy celebs, exept this one shows real intergrity and respect for the good folks.

Michelle Williams has made a statement..
Source: [ur=]http://movies.aol.com/news/story/_a/williams-rep-calls-ledger-story-a-lie/20080130173809990001]Moviefone[/url]
(Jan. 30) - Michelle Williams is denying a tabloid report that she ever took her ex-fiance Heath Ledger to rehab.
Usmagazine.com"Much of the tabloid reporting is inaccurate. This fabricated story of Michelle Williams attempting to bring Heath Ledger to rehab is just one lie among many. The speculation is heinous. Let this family grieve privately," Mara Buxbaum, the publicist for the 'Brokeback' actress, tells CelebTV.com.
In its latest issue, Us Weekly claims that Williams, after witnessing Ledger's battle with alcohol and drugs for three years, drove him to the Promises Treatment Center in 2006.
According to Us, Ledger persuaded Williams that he could get better on his own, so he never sought help from the facility in Malibu.
Us also reports that Williams wanted Ledger drug tested before each of his visits with their daughter Matilda.
Ledger and Williams met on the set of 'Brokeback Mountain,' which earned them both Academy Award nominations. After filming, the pair announced their pregnancy and engagement.
Their daughter, Matilda Rose, was born in October of 2005. The couple later ended their relationship in September 2007.
Williams was "devastated" when she heard of her ex's death on the set of her movie 'Mammoth' in Sweden. She has put the filming of her next flick, 'Blue Valentine' with Ryan Gosling, on hold.

Well, if you haven't heard, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, to celebrity gossip shows, played an edited clip of Heath Ledger at a party. The clip was cut to give the impression of him being a drug addict, while those who have seen the full video have commented that the evidence is actually to the contrary.
Well, there was been a huge backlash against them. Many Hollywood publicity companies threatened to never let the shows do any reports on there celebs again in retaliation for the airing of the video.
Well, it ends up the publicity movement wasn't from the companies, but the stars. Actors such as Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Penn, Katie Holmes, Tobey Macquire, Mike Myers, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Jennifer Hudson, and Ellen DeGeneres.
It's touching you know? When was the last time someone gained so much respect that Hollywood would act like this for them?

I didn't see the ET, but people have been mentioning watching so I assumed they ran it. But yeah, I just looked it up and they decided against it because of the backlash.

That's the thing, the full video was him saying he DIDN'T smoke pot anymore! He mentioned that he used too, but the complete, unedited video has him saying he has a tattoo of an M on his arm (for his daughter Matilda Rose) to remind him never to smoke pot again.

I've never smoked pot, but I can see what your saying.
Though the thing to point out is that pot has known to be a gateway drug, especially in show business where people have access to a lot of drugs; so they move from pot to cocaine, heroin, ETC.
So what they're trying to do here is say "He smoked pot, so he had to move on to something else!"... But it was quite obvious he was sober.

Is there any OFFICIAL news on cause of death?
One friend keeps telling me that medical reports (posted SOMEWHERE on-line) indicate massive amounts of drugs. Yet, I can't seem to find ANYTHING.
Is that BS?
i am still thinking a drug INTERACTION (pneumonia and sleeping pills), but have seen no REAL proof either way.
Also, anyone know what KIND of character he was playing in the Terry Gilliam movie?
(It was well into production.)
