I would like to see another restart because I wasn't sastisfied with batman begins. Batman is the most intelligent superhero as well as one of the darkest and they did not show that. Bruce Wayne is the ultimate aristocrat and gentleman and that wasn't shown either. Also the Batmobile looked like crap. This restart I have in mind will be the best. It will feature kid Bruce adult Bruce/Batman Julie Madison the Monk Harvey Dent Commissioner Gordon the next one will feature kid Bruce adult Bruce/Batman Julie Madison the Joker Harvey Dent Commissioner Gordon it will take place in the present this is the Monks revival. Anyway I would like to see Jim Carrey or Mark Hamill play Joker.

thats highly unlikely. but i agree with you at some extent. they didnt really show the smartness of batman...but i dont really care. batman begins was just to restart batman in a good direction. wait for the next one. its joker, the most well known villian. itll be the best movie ever.

If you want another restart, you ahve to waity at least 20 years or more after ALL the movies is done.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

No way, it?s not going to happen.
Batman Begins did a superb job on the restart of the franchise. Everything is explained so much better and we get to see Wayne grow and develop into Batman along with Gordon becoming Commissioner. To me, it?s as close to perfect as you can get.
Only fault I see is that Ra?s never called Batman ?Detective? like he does in the comic books and BTAS. Of course Ra?s came along (in the comics) after Batman was established so maybe that?s why. In Batman Begins it?s Ra?s who ends up creating Batman, although that was not his main intention. I hope we see Ra?s again.
I too hated the Batmobile when I first saw it, but after seeing the film and studying the models and such, I have changed my mind. It?s pretty well explained why it is the way it is. You can?t argue that?s one mean looking vehicle. Watch the extras on the DVD and see the real car do the real stunts, no CGI or other effects.

LOL! I agree with him! And hey, lay off the new Batmobile, if its fast, shoots stuff, and is unstopable and gets the job done- then its good! Batman Begins is also like a Bruce Wayne begins, we dont see him as the gentleman like type because we are just learning about his past and his motives and keep in mind he`s still young and just started to run the Wayne company, and I am dead sure we`ll see other characteristics in the next one as well as for Batman in the intellectual science wise (or whatever lol), I mean Batman had to learn all that stuff at some point, I mean that crap just doesnt pop into your head out of nowhere.

Batman 1989s Batmobile and Begins Batmobile were the best though! and I`m sure nobody disagrees with me on this one.*jljoker*

maybe this batman wont be all that smart guys. think about it for a second. in the comics bruce set out all over the world and learned everything as a package. martial arts, science, forensics, man-hunting, stealth, martial arts with weapons and much much much more. but in Batman Begins he learns SOME martial arts(as far as i can tell in the time he spent there in the himalayas he probably only mastered about 3 or 4 martial arts) as opposed to the comics mind blowing 127 martial arts. he also learns stealth, ninja sword training, reflex training...pretty much just fighting skills. If this batman was really intended to be like the comics(an almost above genius) why couldnt he have just made the serum for himself instead of having lucius make it? in the comics batman would have devised it himself. so im betting this is going to be a more aggresive, scary, urban batman rather than a genius, tactician batman.

It says in the Visual Guide that he alread mastered 10 or so before he got there, but I admit they didn't say anything about that in th movie, other than him beating up the 7 huge inmates at the beginning.
why couldnt he have just made the serum for himself instead of having lucius make it?
Uhh...because he was poisoned and unconcious at the time?

i never saw this "visual guide" and as you said, they nor show, or talk about him having any training prior to the league of shadows. But what was stated about the batmobile earlier, i dont agree with. I think the batmobile looked great, and it had everything batman would need, a stealth mode, crap load of speed, missiles. i think it was great

If you read Denny O' Neil's excellent novelisation it tells you how Bruce travelled the world, stowing away on various ships. The sailors on the ships would beat him up and this toughened Bruce up and taught him how to defend himself to some degree.

The movie showed that he knew a few fighting forms. When Ducard is beating Bruce up after arriving at the temple, Bruce gets into a series of stances and Ducard names them as he does it, panther, tiger, jujitsu, etc. It is a nice tie in to Denny O'Neils adaptation where he learns as he travels from Gotham.
If you take the novel into account Bruce was learning things while at college. Before coming back to Gotham he had been at a high speed driving class. Of course you are forced to take the novel as part of the story for that to work.

Maybe through Lucius, that is who he is going to learn all his chemistry from, and Lucius knows so much about it himself because like it said in the movie he was head of the science department in Wayne Enterprises. And once again, it was BATMAN-BEGINS...he didn`t have all the equipment and stuff not to mention the time in the movie to make all that antidote...but I`m sure we`ll see that in the very near future!

learning from lucius is a good idea, detective work however, remains a mystery.

You mean like when he tracked down the scarecrow to his hide out. Where he then used stealth to observe the room with his night vision scope, break into the room, and look at the rabbit full of drugs. I think this scene is very overlooked when everyone complains about him not being a detective.*jlbatman*
