Any news?

so far i read this

Michael Caine has been touting the performance of Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, guaranteeing he will terrify audiences with his all new Joker. The acting knight described a major Joker scene as just such an example.

"He'll frighten the life out of you," Caine began. "He did me the first time I saw him because we did a rehearsal on the first day and we hadn't met or anything. He had to come up in an elevator to Batman's home. I'm thinking I'm letting friends in, instead of which he's killed them all and he's coming up in the lift."
This Joker is not alone though. His villainous cohorts sound even weirder. "In the first rehearsal, I've never seen him, and he has like seven dwarves with him like Snow White only it's not like that. When the bloody door opens on the lift, he came tearing out. I forgot every line I had. Terrifying."

They had another big esplosion, this time in London.

The London Paper
These were the amazing scenes as Battersea Power Station appeared to explode in the dead of night last night.

The emergency services were flooded with calls from local residents who feared the defunct electricity generating plant had been targeted by terrorists.

But they were reassured the 200ft fireball, accompanied by columns of grey smoke, which could be seen for miles across the capital, was a special effect for the latest Batman film.

I don't think anyone is saying that Iron Man will be the best superhero film ever. It looks good, but it only has the value of and X-men film; awesome, but not life changing.

But just about everyone looking forward to TDK is thinking it will completely top every other superhero movie ever.

So Marvel nay-sayers will probably say Spider-man 2 is still the greatest ever inspite of TDK.

IMO, the only 08 summer superhero blockbuster that can even stands up to TDK might be the Incredible Hulk. It's got Edward Norton and Tim Roth, to of the greatest actors of our time, and most everyone who's read the script says it's really good.

To make a long story short...

Before I was a Brother of the Bat , I
collected just about every Marvel comic out
-there and Ironman was one of them...

Ironman is in a universe of his own.The only
charactor that comes close to him in the DC universe
has to be BoasterGold...

My point is that Ironman will kick ass for a Ironman
movie next summer and so will our favorite
Bat....

I love hot dogs and I love hamburgers...

Just as I love Batman and Ironman...

This summer is going to be awsome for comic
book movies...

yes

This is my opinion and mine only, and if you agree cool but dont fight with me

What i think is that even thought Marvel has good movies, i think they are rushing them. They have like Spiderman 3 , F4: RSS, X- Men 3 and many more all in one year! Its insane! I think that they arnt as good as they should be because they are rushing them. But unlike Marvel, DC is taking there time, waiting a year or 2 or 3 to make ONE movie. And i think the reason DC movies are a little better than MARVEL is because they take more time and get the best they can.

Well, that's basically the truth. X-men 3 wasn't as good as it could've been because they lost there director and instead of postponing the film to find a good director they settled for a sub-par director so they could make it on schedule. With Spidey 3 they couldn't wait to put Venom in a sequal, so they rushed him into the third, and the film felt a little crowded for most movie goers.

who wants to see 7 min of The Dark Knight?!! I know i do!!!!

According to a report over on Collider (via a Portuguese website who just attended a Dark Knight set visit in London), six or seven minutes of next summer's Batman follow-up will screen before the IMAX version of I Am Legend. This won't be an extended trailer of sorts; from what we know, this will be an entire scene -- they're calling it a prologue about the Joker. That's all we have to go on now, but if you planned on seeing I Am Legend when it hits theaters on December 14, you might as well skip over to the local IMAX and check it out there. No word on whether a new Dark Knight trailer will come attached to Legend in conventional theaters, but I've heard there may indeed be something.

More at http://www.cinematical.com/2007/10/16/seven-minutes-of-the-dark-knight/

This comes out the 14th of December so this might be what Joker ment by see you in December?!!
Now i need to find the nearest IMAX..!

Alfred- Why do we fall Sir?.........So we can
learn to pick ourselves up.

Bruce- You still havent givin up on me.

Alfred- Nevah!

It's only confirmed for IMAX, and a seven minute trailer is probably way to big to play in non-specialty theaters. However, they may still play it infront of select, non-IMAX screenings, and they might just put a non-IMAX version of it on the web; but that's just speculation.
