Ahhhh i got your point. I like the idea of the "monster" scaring the crap out of people. And like in the animated series with the darkness, *Batman Swoops down* and then raises his head and the white lenses show. But the glowing is too much, just like a light that activated in the dark on his command.

the other half of the pumpkin is MESSED up!
but if that's all we're gonna see...the decay of half of a pumpkin...then i'd be pretty upset. hopefully we'll get to see a poster, some pictures, or something. we'll have to wait till tomorrow.

I wouldn't worry about just seeing a pumpkin, it's just a countdown to something bigger... But since it's only rotting on one half, it's going to probably involve Two-face.
We'll find out what it is at midnight I guess.

From CNN.com
This could be considered a Spoiler.. so be careful!
HONG KONG, China (AP) -- Batman may have a body of steel, but the caped crusader is no match for the pollution in Hong Kong's iconic harbor.
The latest installment of the Batman series will start filming in the territory this month, but already the movie has hit several snags. A scene in which Batman was to drop from a plane into the harbor has been axed after the movie's producers found the water quality could pose a potential health risk, the South China Morning post reported in its Sunday edition.
"The plan was for Batman to be seen jumping into the water and then climbing up some bamboo, or something similar," the Post quoted an unnamed production official as saying.
"But when they checked a water sample, they found all sorts of things; salmonella and tuberculosis, so it was canceled. Now the action will cut to inside a building."
The movie -- a sequel to the 2005 hit "Batman Begins" -- stars Christian Bale as the eponymous Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker and Michael Caine as Batman's long-suffering butler, Alfred.

According to BOF that story is completely bogus.
According to several news outlets, producers of THE DARK KNIGHT have canceled a stunt because of Hong Kong water pollution. Allegedly, the stunt would have had Batman jumping out of a Hercules C-130 and into Victoria Harbor.
BOF insider "A.P." wrote in and said that this story is "a complete fabrication." He also forwarded the following cartoon:

If it was a joke, Thats a pretty serious offense on whoever started it. |

I believe the bogus part of the story isn't the pollution, but the stunt. As in, nowhere in TDK will Batman jump out of a military jet into a harbor.
Perhaps a Hong Kong paper heard that they canceled a harbor related stunt and assumed Batman was involved.

i think the idea of batman and joker facing off on a polluted harbor would be a good way for joker to tell his origin if its not eplained earlyer in the movie and then afterwords batman could take out joker and mabey he can be a reocurring villan in the future batman movies.

IMAX's website posted a behind the scenes video on TDK (the site says it's about the prologue, but it isn't)
It's just interviews with Nolan and the filming crew about the advantages of IMAX, interesting, but nothing too exciting.

Several new viral sites are up.
http://www.thegothamtimes.com/
An online "Newspaper" covering events before TDK, it serves to paint a pretty good picture of what gotham is goint through after Batman Begins; describing such topics as the severity of the gang wars and the after-effects of Al Ghul's attack on Gotham.

Joker's defaced version of the previous paper.
There are several other sites popping up, but their use is unclear at this point. It seems to me that they're purpose is simply to feed us plot point and imerse us in the film's world.
They are all site of various Gotham companies, they include the police force, the mono-rail, the National Bank, Dent's tip hotline to prevent police corruption, and a memorial site to a (ficticious) girl who was killed in the cross fire of the gang war.
