Anyone who thinks Iron Man will do better than Batman is an idiot. Sorry for being so blunt.
The three Biggest comic book characters are Superman, Batman and Spiderman. I wouldn't worry, Honestly, I'd worry more about Indy 4 before Iron Man.

Like I said in the other thread, Joker's begining his rampage, Wayne Manor still hasn't been rebuilt, they're is still a power vacuum where Falcone was, and according to..
However, Maroni hass amassed a large portion of Falcone's power, Bruce has moved into a building with a custom "Batcave", and a new DA has been apointed.
I'd estimate 1-2 months after Begins... deffinitely within a year.

The filming 2 at the same time thing was just a rumour, ever since Lord of the Rings it's become hip to do that, so people were saying that was what was going to happen.
Anyway, they're still cutting TDK, and they won't start working on Batman7/Begins3/TDK2 until after TDK has been released and WB has decided to make a third. And they probably won't have the script complete for a while with the writter's strike.

At the end of Begins he had the physical skills to take down a league of the greatest ninjas in the world, after TDK he'll have used his keen mind to help take down the greatest villain master-mind who ever lived, and he has an armory of ever advancing weapons and technology, plus he'll have his cave in the third.
So he'll be darn close to his "prime" by the third.

I think He is in his Prime in the ending of begins.
He even said "I'll look into it" meaning this is just the beginning of ass kicking |

But remember, he didn't yet train as a detective, and he didn't have a batcave, he'll be "Full on" Batman in the 3rd, or maybe even during TDK.

no, what i mean by being in his prime is like...being obsessed with crime fighting, and not giving up.
he wouldn't say something like "people are dying. what would you have me do?"..and in the end of batman begins, he was all like "i failed..(cries)". while that works for year one batman, that's in no way batman in his prime. the batman i've come to know would never give up. if anything, alfred would urge him to quit, but bruce would keep working. that's the kind of batman i want to see; older, obsessed, near crazy.

First, Batman always has self-doubt... ALWAYS. In most every book where he is not a self-absorbed, narsicistic, vengence obsesses, paranoid a-hole, he almost always doubts himself. It's what makes him, him. The fact that unlike other superheroes who shirk off any failure, he takes his failures to heart and each one makes him more insecure, and he over-compensates by building walls between himself and anyone he can, by making himself try harder and by merging himself more with the monster.
Anyway, every story arc has a resolution, he questions whether he doomed Gotham by bringing Joker about and wether he can stop him... He'll find the determination to win by the end of the movie.
Like I said, by the end of TDK he wil be NEAR his prime.

I thought Joker was always there?
meaning, Batman didnt make Joker Joker but Joker made himself. |

Joker made Joker, but Batman inspired him... It's like he says in the trailer, he's "changed things forever", Batman has brought on the new breed of criminal through escalation, and he isn't sure if he can take it on.

& it would make sense it's something along those lines that led to Gordon smashing the Bat Signal in the trailer.
