Well, it's unknown if they were going to use hime in the sequel, the outline Goyer gave said that Two-Face wouldn't apear til the third, and the Wizard World footage made it obvious he's in TDK, so they're deffinitly not going for his initial outline.

But still, they probably at least wanted a cameo from Joker in the third.

i would think there will have been scenes shot that wont make it into the final film, so there may be a little scope to do something with them if they wanted too in a third film

i totally agree. the mob angle would make more sense and fits in with the way this particular series of batfilms are. its kinna what ive been think about all this time, even before this tragedy with Heath.
does seem odd tho, talkin about this stuff at this time. could be part of the healing proses, i guess. idk

If The Dark Knight was out tomorrow, I don't even know I'd wanna go.

I'll probably lighten up by July, but the human tragedy of what's happened, with the the guy who will probably come to define the Joker is so great, that it will just overshadow the whole film.

2 days ago I had a feeling this film would actually give Star Wars or Batman Begins a run for it's money as the greatest film in (my chosen) history. Right now, I'm truthfully not that fussed. Given that this is BATMAN film we're talking about - that really is saying something.

For those of you who don't know, WB's updated the official TDK sites with memorials for Heath.

TheDarkKnight.WarnerBros.com has replaced the page with the trailer and the poster with a memorial to Heath.

www.WhySoSerious.com has added a black ribbon on the page.

I agree with my fellow Bat-chumes on
how others might feel about watching the
movie; but as they say in Hollywood...

"The show must go on..."

I would find it still to be a tribute to a
fine actor, to go and watch the film...yes

Remember he will always live in films...

The ackward thing about going to the movie is it will no longer just be a Batman movie, it'll feel like a memorial, well at least if things are like they are now they will.

But one major part of acting, you get the show done, my first theater teacher told me it doesn't matter if you're hobbling on a stick or in a wheel-chair or whatever, you get the show done. So at this point it would be comletely disrespectful to not go.

Heath's gift to the world was his acting ability, and it'd be wrong not to go and see what could potentially be his final film. I was one of those who was skeptical of his ability to pull it off, and from what I've seen thus far, he exceeded every expectation. I'll be glad to see the movie in July, and I would have been glad to see the movie if it had opened this weekend.

Someone at E! news is reporting that Heath hadn't finished post production, so they would have to over-dub his voice for lack of quality audio. Jett at BOF has talked to many very reputable sources and has since confirmed this report to be bogus.

So if you read that report, remember, Heath did indeed finish post and his performance is complete.

Are there 2 versions of the "Why So Serious?" posters?
One with the wrists slashed?
A friend is telling me there was and it has been pulled and yanked from sites.
