mine are batman 89 and returns nice action scenes, awesome actors, awesome bat suits and an awesome batmobile? c'mon gotta love it

i didnt like batman his costume was lousy the headpeice was too big and it stuck out and kinda looked retarded

I think all the movie suits looked pretty good, besides the nipples and extra manly buldges. I did just realize recently though that Michael Keaton could never actually turn his head in the Batsuit. He always had to swivel side to side and bend back to look up (like in the Axis Chemicals scene). Could you honestly imagine someone lasting very long having to fight crime like that? Kinda funny.

finally someone who understands how dumb that is! i always said to people how he moved like a little robot constantly swiveling around, but batman returns is still my 2nd favorite bat movie

That Complete History of the Dark Knight book's got an exclusive interview with Keaton about his work in the two films. He says he actually suffered a permanent injury in his hip from doing a high kick or something. I bet the Begins suit was a lot safer and more flexible than those old, thick rubber ones. Maybe I'll put that interview up in the site someday. It was pretty cool to read.

I agree? Keaton?s cowl in the first movie looked too thick and awkward BUT the brow line was kind of cool? looked like his scowl.
I personally liked the body armor though.

As the films progressed, the suits defiantly took on a SLEEKER, more comfortable look.

Muscle suits? You mean the sculpted body armor? Unless the actors were really buffed up, that's practically the only way to go. Besides, even an incredibly musclar guy wearing a tight shirt isn't gonna have as much muscle tone as you seen Batman drawn in the comics, it's just not like that. The cool thing with the Begins version was that it wasn't sculpted quite like muscles and was more like real, protective body armor.

hmm my favorite was forever. it cud of been returns if they used the original script or w/e. a street kid named dick that saves vicki vale. that sounds like all the robins combined. except for stef and carrie. and tim burton wud of chosen a better robin than chris o donnel..argh! it kills me that there cud of been a better returns.

oh how did i forget BATMAN??? yea, thats probably better than forever. what was i thinking?

1989. more than just the movie itself, the whole marketing of that summer made this THE movie. and it has now become a classic. Begins may have been the definitive Batman movie to date, but 89 will always be the greatest reivisioning of the character.

I found myself watching it over again a couple times a few months ago, I still think it's great. Plus it was kind of the foundation for my love of the character as a kid. And like Shadowbat said, all those wonderful toys.
