Batman and Robin is so bad it might be considered good by some. Not me, it was so bad I felt ashamed to say I was a Batman fan.
Watching the behind the scenes things I can see why it was so bad. It was rushed into production before they had any foundation. Kilmer would have come back had he not been working on The Saint (another stinker), so maybe had they waited it would have been better.
Clooney is a better actor than he was in Batman and Robin, and the rest of the cast had talent too so it should have been better.

Schumacher has always said that he hated working with Val Kilmer.

I don't agree with you by any means batboy. BF was good because it finally explored why Bruce chose bats as the means to frighten his enemies, why he feels he is compelled to fight crime, and why he needs a light to his dark side, to prevent him from going insane like those he fights.
Sadly, Schumacher ignored this concept and made it into an art movie with plenty of homoerotic undertones.

i think some of you seriously need to watch the Cinematic Saga documentary on both Forever and B&R. it explains alot on why some scenes were cut and also the reasons why those 2 movies went in the directions they did.

I did watch the Shadows Of The Bat segments and the deleted scenes for both BF and BR too.
Some of the deleted scenes on BF would have changed the outcome a bit. I think they decided to stay away from the torment that Bruce has within about Batman. Too bad because that's what makes him tick. BR however was meant to sell toys to kids even more so than BF.

i will openly admit, that after watching the features and really listening to the interviews, my view on those movies did change. especially on B&R. once you understand what it is the studio wanted the movie to be, its a little easier to get where it is coming from. i just dont get the fans who say they love the 60's show but hate B&R. its just an updated approach to the same thing. camp batman.

My least favorite was and plz don't hate me for this is Begins. Because it didn't show the unrealistic intelligence of Batman. Bruce Wayne is a classy gentleman and that wasn't shown. I did not like the tumbler. Bale yelled too loud (gave me a headache). But it was dark and it did have good graphics and that I did like. Then Forever. Then 60's. Then Batwoman. Then Beyond. Then B&R.

wow!!!! thats really weird man. especially for a batman fan. and the whole intelligence thing will probably come up in the sequel or later movies.
but anyways.. i learned in one of teh comentaries that B&R was basically a really long toy commercial. lol. and yeah...i got most of my batman toys as a kid from that movie, so i guess it succeeded in what it was supposed to do. lol.

im not sure what you mean by "unrealistic intelligence". its very possible to be that smart.
Bruce Wayne did act with some class in Begins, he also played up the carefree, reckless billionair playboy he is supposed to be. he does this so that no one would suspect that he's capable of being a Batman or a smart businessman. which was also shown at the end when he ended buying most of the shares of Wayne Enterprises under Earls nose. This giving him back ownership of his fathers company.
