And you're saying Batman & Robin DID?:bigeek:

Well, at least Batman Begins had the darkness for you. Batman & Robin had none at all of either. So why is it your number 3?

Homer: Batman?
Marge: No, a scientist!
Homer: Batman's a scientist.
Marge: It's not BATMAN!! |

Another thing I don't understand is why you have batman Forever as being worse than batman & robin? I'll admit, BF wasn't great, but it was no B&R! You, crazy, man!

I'm really not sure about that. I think Batman & Robin had plenty more neon lights than Forever. In the early scenes where Batman breaks the skylight into the museum there's blue and red lighting all over the walls of the museum, even though it's supposed to be dark, as if the lights are all out. Really didn't make sense. There's also plenty of green light beams in Pamela Isley's steriotypical lab, and even green lightning flashing through the windows of Arkham Asylum. It never ends.

Batman Begins may not show how smart Batman is in terms of science and textbooks. But it shows how wise and resourceful he is, and how he far he is willing to go to do what needs to be done. I also disagree that it doesn't show Batman as a detective. Before he discovers the Batcave, we see Bruce sitting down looking over files of Rachel Dawes and Jim Gordon. If you read the novel, you'll find out that he was doing extensive researching on them, to see if they could be trusted.
I just can't see why you don't think it portrays Batman the right way. Batman isn't all about intelligence. The Animated Series focused more on the darkness that drives him and his tormented soul rather than the fact that he can build robots. It wasn't until JLU that Paul Dini made him out to be really clever in the world of science and when you think about it, that's a good ten years into Batman's career. The second part of Batman Begins is set within a timeframe of like three weeks.
In the shadows I saw my destiny...
I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge...

Well, i think within the next film we'll see Batman really mature as a decective. (And crime fighting skills.) I don't think this was forgotten, but they wanted to show a batman just beggining. He isn't born the greatest decective, but becomes it.
Anyway, the films based on Year One, really, did batman do too much detective work in that? |

That's what you get with a gay director, who directed the crappy ST Elmo's Fire movie. |

Well I for one think that Batman Begins FREAKING RULES!
I also like Batman and Batman Returns!
Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, These two movies were a waste of film. They should of never been made.
